Just remove OS from LSS

Nah, def outplayed. It’s ok kid, it happens to everyone.

Yes you should. Maybe get some cover next time?

Yeah I find it best not to pay attention to this guy. You’ll never get him to say anything intelligent or admit the game is not perfect.

Physically just Ninja’d a player with Overshield but don’t worry child we all want a 1.0K/D

I agree that it needs some tweaking. I didn’t expect them to deliver 100% perfection at launch. I feel like OS and camo just need to drop in more high-risk locations, not in remote areas with plenty of cover and concealment. A couple of changes must be made to incentivize hunting rather than camping. It sure is frustrating watching someone with a negative KD win a LSS match.

1.0kd aint that hard kid, gotta grow into it.

After playing a bit more LSS, and warming into it a bit more.

Camo definitely needs to go.

OS needs to be toned back a bit. Holding multiple is way over powered. Make it so you can hold only one - but it starts with a 3s timer. If you find another one then it adds 3s to your timer. And that way you can actually put more out there for people to forage for.

Sniper would be ridiculously overpowered in LSS.

They need to have an announcement when camo and os are gonna drop and make the location viewable on the map so everyone knows where it is and when it has been picked up. Would allow for you to earn the power up by fighting for it.

Equipment like drop wall, threat sensor, thrusters, grapple should be the random drop pods because they give an advantage but are not over powered.

They should also let you pick what weapon you switch out when you level up because going from level 1 to 2 I would prefer to keep sidekick over disruptor but others may have different preferences.

No, it needs to stay. Just have less of them spawn, there should be an announcement when they do spawn and an indicator on where they spawned. Also, they should not spawn after the third circle is closing. This creates more of a risk reward system and you are forced to decide to use it now to survive, or use it later and possibly have the one up on the last player. Also you should not be allowed to have any other equipment in your inventory when OS or camo are active.

While I agree with this sentiment, a core element of Halo has always been fighting for an advantage.

Oftentimes, there is no one else around to even contest pickups. With the way pickups have been implemented in LSS, they technically go against the proven Halo formula.

Interestingly enough, in this very specific case it seems as though the upgradable loadouts actually fit the Halo formula moreso than the map pickups do (at least in their current implementation.)
