… to become something that keeps a hold of a lot of the community, as well as reel back some players who went off Halo because of the monotony of the constant (albeit well made) competitive modes, Infection needs to be a permanent play list. Not this weekend only thing, but in terms of a full fledged, constant play list, like Griftball is.
That’s just my two cents, and doesn’t even cover any of the issues that could occur through customs like improper alpha zombie settings and the such, or any balancing issues in the MM modes that can come from the maps and/or custom settings.

It’s a little of both really.

That’s a big draw but its needed in Matchmaking for those who can’t or don’t want to set up custom games.

Infection is a fun party game type that would definitely add to the variety not much there as far as goof off modes.

Overall, here’s what I wan’t for Infection in HALO 5:

  • Survivors to have their own spartan’s color (not a team color, like Halo 4’s yellow) - Full-time Matchmaking playlist - Being able to set the colors for the Infected and in Custom Games - Being able to set the weapons for the infected in custom games - Playlist to be updated with new maps consistently (even maps like ‘Reflection’ to be added)

I was never a fan, but willing to try again when the new version launches.

I was thinking this. I had a feeling they would just put it in on certain weekends only and then eventually make it permanent because people are begging it to be. I agree. Make it permanent.

I just hope they balance it right. If Spartans can Smart Scope with that shotgun Im OUT.

In theory they literally SHOULDN"T have to! with the fear of getting -YOINK- on by the zombies I doubt too many players are going to THINK to use the Smart Scope… if it is even a possiblity. They may just cut that ability with the Spartans and only give the Smart link with the INFECTED since they use swords and all.
