Just received the invitation to flight #4 an hour ago. The email even talks about a previous email titled “Halo Insider MCC Flight Four - Steam Invitation” yet I definitely never received such a thing. The flight ends on the 24th, having started on the 13th.
The key is working and am installing it, and I do have access to the insider only Halo support site.
I assume this was a bug, and if that’s the case consider this a report of it. Has anyone else experienced something like this?
I received both emails today, what is this flight 4?
So I am not the only one then.
Flight 4 is the first Halo:CE flight I believe. I am excited to play it, just unfortunate the email only got sent out so late.
Just got mine too
The late invite is likely not a bug; in the latest Community Update (today) they announced that they are sending out more invitations.
If you are installing via Steam you should have received two emails, however. Quite a few people (yourself and myself included) only received one, with the second either arriving late or not arriving at all.
There also appears to be a Steam 2.7 gig update to the game not sure if it was released today or in the last couple of days as we Playing reach released version yesterday. It was Today

Well darn colour me impressed look what I just found in me email account,
Hello Spartans!
Thank you for your participation in February’s PC flight! This email is to inform you about new build update is targeted for release this afternoon after 1 PM Pacific Time (UTC-8). The new build version will be 1.1367.
Please make sure to restart the game to acquire this update if you are not on the 1.1367 build after 1 PM Pacific Time today. The flight build will automatically update once the patch is released to both Steam and Microsoft Store flight participants. If you do not update to the 1.1367 the update may not be out just quite yet. Please view this article for How To Update Steam and Microsoft Store Games and keep an eye on the @HaloSupport Twitter account for when the flight update has been released.
when this ends is the game deleted from our steam acct? do we get anything for playtesting it? I just got mine as well
Social 4v4 and 8v8 has spectacularly long wait times so it might be an effort to get enough people to efficiently fill those play modes.
People have mentioned half an hour in the chats but I’ve personally only encountered 10-15 minutes tops.
It seems most people are playing the ranked matches
Im in this flight, anybody got any information on how we get the 2 nameplates this time around, read about stress tests, are the “play session” mentioned in our emails the “stress tests” if so then play 12 games in the mentioned times right? Iv just got fomo wanna make sure i get them haha
Got my email too, I am so damn happy, it installed and I still have to figure out how to access CE from the MCC now, cause I only see Reach.
Yeah, checked the beta tab, nothing in the dropdown list, nothing in the DLCs list, I verifying the game cash but. I think I my code was broken or I just wasn’t actually invited or something. I likelly actually am not part of the flight… I got so hyped up seeing that email, was too good to be true.
PS: Yup, verifying the game cash, as usual, did nothing, Steam didn’t even see anything wrong with the game. Guess there’s no flight for me…

The Insider Flight is a separate game from retail MCC.

Wait, is it?
PS: It is… I didn’t see that being precised in the emails I got tho. I hate myself now.

I appear to be in the same boat as you. I received an email yesterday evening welcoming me to the flight, directing me to come to Waypoint to get the information in my notifications and messages but there is nothing there for me (no notifications nor messages). I have given it about 12 hours or so and still nothing so perhaps it was sent in error?
In the email there is a paragraph starting with the words “If you have any issues with the instructions, please contact us on at the Insider Halo Support Site!”. This paragraph contains three sections of hyperlnked text all pointing to insidersupport.halowaypoint.com, but when I follow these links, I get an “access denied” message. Has anybody else experienced this problem?
It’s perhaps worth pointing out that I was previously invited to the Halo: CEA MCC PC Flight in February.

Make sure you have the Correct Gamer Tag for the Flight there appears to be several people who signed up for flight with a different Gamer tag to there normal one.
So if you have another Gamer Tag try that one.

I have only one gamertag associated with this email address to my knowledge. I had an old one long ago back in the Xbox/Xbox360 days but it was associated with a different email address, and hasn’t been used in over 10 years at this point. My 360 passed before its time unfortunately. Is there any way to verify if there is another gamertag associated with my current email address?
It’s not a big problem. I don’t mind waiting for the full release, but it would be cool to help contribute testing resources to the flight if possible.

You would have to go via support and request the details.

Ok, thanks for the info!
Make sure that you are signing in with the GT you use for flighting - this can differ from the email associated with your gamertag, so be sure to check your Insider profile if you have a different email for communication. Getting “access denied” on the Insider Support site means that you are not accessing it with the correct account.
