So i just reached SR-130 and now i have no incentive to play the game cause there is no XP that i can get and also there is no ranking system that will make me play the game longer or more…
So tell me 343 now what do i do or is halo 4 just going to be a social/casual game here noobs take over and you only cater to them cause thats what it seems like…
And on top of that they took out Slayer Pro today lol wow 343 your a joke
I sugest you to play either Borderlands 2 or Far Cry3. Booth games are WAY AWESOME.

not really… it does get boring and im just frustrated cause this game has potential but 343 are making the wrong moves and aren’t catering at all to the competitive community

I recently hit SR130 also but it wont stop me from playing. When i get home from work i play H4 with friends online as relaxation. I honestly could care less about the number next to my GT.
I hit 47 and now I find no urge to play it. Unless I am with friends.
I heard they’re going to add a new ranking system. but I cant prove that, I’ve just heard it.
Also 343i has a lot of things to fix/add/take out. hopefully done by the end of this month for January. getting kind of sick of waiting. they haven’t communicated with us very well at all either.

Umm in halo 1 we weren’t introduced at all to the competitive scene really cause it was a brand new game,and a fresh start to the halo franchise so it didnt need to have one.
But in halo 2 where they introduced i think the greatest ranking system it changed MP and after that most people don’t want to go back to a regular social game where there is no ranking system.
So thats why halo 1 didnt need a ranking system cause people didnt know how it would be with one

I just want 343 to have the playlist to be Ranked/Social where they had in halo 2/3 so that everyone is happy
If you get bored because 343 took away the carrot it was previously dangling in front of your face, no you aren’t truly a FPS fan. There are many ways to enjoy this game despite its insufficient ranking system, namely by teaming up with other good players. Once you do that you can play against other good teams on your own terms and say screw 343.
But even all that seems unnecessary. Aside from the occasional connection issue due to long distance hosting and aside from the ridiculous bullet magnetism on the DMR (which is still easily avoidable), this game works great. It’s fast-paced, completely fair about ordinance drops (which balance the game a LITTLE bit away from the more experienced players, who shouldn’t mind because the only difference is they now have a challenge instead of running around stomping noobs all day), and most of all it’s a refreshing take on the Halo universe.
NO two Halo games have been alike, really, other than the feel of the gravity and the speed at which you run. Keep those things the same, add some elements that shake things up and come out with new maps/weapons/vehicles? What else could your whining, entitled butts want?
They’re even doing a passive competition to give away prizes! Quit complaining like five-year-olds and learn to adapt. If there are serious issues, express them calmly like adults and they will eventually be resolved. Whining about losing to a specific weapon or that there’s nothing to do anymore make you sound so spoiled and arrogant.

well obviously you have never played Competative Halo 1 if you think it didnt exist.
People knew what a ranking system was back then too. Other games had them its just Halo 1 didnt. However people werent crying that Halo didnt have one because they were too busy having fun playing the game for the sake of playing.
then people like you started to infest the community. Sure a ranking system is a pretty addition to the game, but its just fluff and does not constitute for the whole of a game. It doesnt even constitute for half.
So…you’re that good? Do you win every match? Do you have more kills than deaths for each match? It seems… if you’re already at SR130 you need to get a life! Or maybe not take it so seriously. You can come up with whatever excuse you want, Halo 3 this Halo 2 this Halo Reach this…but in the end all you’re doing is playing the game over and over and over. Try and play FEEDING FRENZY- I hear it’s great! Don’t get me wrong, you’re entitled to your opinion. But really…some of these members on this forum just like to complain - this is just a game, really just a game. Try and have some fun or find another game on another forum to complain about.

This is like saying: “I just hit prestige 10/15/etc… now what?” If leveling was your only reason for playing the game you have a point, but seriously enjoy that you now have everything unlocked and go pawn some noobs.
