Just played Grifball

Not impressed, everything feels off

Thought it wasn’t released until late tonight/tomorrow?

Really? I love it, and i mean LOVE. I have caught the disease.

Ranges are shorter, but with sprint it’s no big deal. Still, I’m not going to have time for it tonight, watching AGL

I’ll be on tomorrow thru.

Haven’t tried yet, though I’m sure it’ll be rage inducing with laggy gravity hammer kills. At least I can get my hammer commendation up.

thats what i am doing.

You played one match and came to a conclusion? Give it a few days, at least.

Explain yourself so that we know why you aren’t impressed. Also, like what Mekanikol just said, give it some time

Doesn’t the bomb just reset without exploding anymore?

Well if you went into the playlist expecting Reach or Halo 3 Grifball you would be sorely disappointed. Halo 4 Grifball is vastly different. Not bad, just different.

And remember there are two variants - one with auto pickup/no rounds and one without auto pickup and rounds.

How about you explain WHY you’re not impressed, offer some constructive feedback and explanation instead of just posting one sentence?

Well that’s no surprise. A recruit-iron complaining about the game. How about you explain WHY you’re not impressed, offer some constructive feedback and explanation instead of just posting one sentence?

I played two regular Grifball (not pro) just now and I absolutely LOVED it. Auto pickup is ok since you can throw it if you really don’t want it. I like the new effect when two gravity hammers clash. It feels like the energy sword all over again. It feels fresh and new. I’m not sure how I like that the bomb doesn’t blow up, considering that the number one rule in Grifball is that Grif always dies, but I can get over it. Grifball has made me want to play Halo 4 again. All I play anymore is Flood, Spartan Ops, Campaign, and now Grifball. Here’s to hoping that Double Team works!

DID YOU REALLY Just criticize someone’s skill through the use of their post count?!?!??!?!?

Tears of -Yoink!-

It’s fun. Not only is the default version much more teamwork based and fast paced, the custom game options make it even better. I played a game where you could only kill with Assassinations, you ran at high speeds, and you couldn’t move if you have the ball, except aiming.

SO FUN MNAN

Do not heed the words of the heathens…the ball of grif is epic!

i love it… so fun

Even on waypoint people trash talk other people about their rank. The people on these forums never cease to amaze me.

I got flamed on my 1st thread on WayPoint - yeah

> I got flamed on my 1st thread on WayPoint - yeah

You didn’t get flamed, we just need an answer.

> I got flamed on my 1st thread on WayPoint - yeah

You didn’t get flamed, your opinion was just not the opinion of the general popuration.

It’s pretty terrible, it shouldn’t even be called grifball anymore, it hardly resembles H3 grifball in any way (at least reach kept the basic premise of the gametype though, unlike H4). With jetpack/dash/handegg etc. you already knew they weren’t real grifball since they didn’t claim to be. I dub this ‘Jimmyball’, to keep the rvb theme going (you hold a skull now), but it’s certainly not grifball.

A buddy of mine played it at 343 Industries, after he was invited at PAX to go to a private testing, before the game was released. After he played H4 grifball, he told one of them to their face that they ruined Halo.
