So…something isn’t a problem if it only happens 10 percent of the time? Let’s do a hypothetical or two…So if I rob you and take 1 out of your next 10 paychecks it isn’t an issue? If one day out of every 10 I follow you around and sing annoying songs…it isn’t a big deal? Having 10% of something you do specifically to take a break from your real life being a horrible experience is not ‘okay.’ Attempting to minimize the issue or pretend it isn’t there doesn’t make the game more enjoyable for anyone.

I think people are using the term farming in the wrong way. When they get stomped by a better team, first thing they say is “We got farmed”. I have been on the wrong side of farming, a few times. I think people blow it out of proportion. One in ten times farmed, I would say closer to one in twenty.

So committing an actual crime is some how equal to a video game? people have very unrealistic expectations when it comes to gaming.

By your statement it would only happen 10 percent of the time and therefore wouldn’t be a problem…
It doesn’t matter how ‘rarely’ something happens to you. The bottom line is it shouldn’t be happening at all. Even if it only happened once it would be a problem. Minimization helps nothing. Farming apologetics helps nothing.

That is why I said MAYBE one in ten. because it really isn’t even that often.
But we don’t need threads like this that do nothing but minimize and marginalize the fact that, once again, it IS an issue - whether it happens to you or not.
