I played 3 consecutive games against 3 players who each spawned a NornFang. I lost every game 1000-300.
The month of mythic is the DUMBEST -Yoinking!- IDEA YET. YOU -Yoinking!- MONEY GRABING PUNKS. -Yoinking!- -Yoink- I WISH BUNGIE NEVER GAVE HALO TO YOU MOTHER -Yoinks!-
Not trying to defend Month of Mythic here, but how do you know if those players didn’t already have a pile of Nornfangs, and all decided they wanted to use them?
In before ban, and nornfangs do not influence the game enough to dictate you losing, it obvious that you got beat by better players.

You can say it was a HUGE concidence. I higly doubt it.

If you really believe that you got beat because of Nornfangs you need to get better at the game.
I already had 10 nornfangs saved before it was available. I don’t think nornfang deserves its mythic title any more it is no longer the best sniper in the game. Though for me I felt like nornfangs were getting spammed before month of mythic.
Today I managed to steal 1 full nornfangs, and 2 binary rifles in one life from the enemy.
I did how ever feel that both the melee mythic were spammed and I did notice a increase in rocket use but I think it was more a scare tactic cause I don’t think most of them were prime.

So ummm three players with one shot kill snipers that have no trail like the Binary is fair? Ok say what you want, but mythic weapons ARE DESIGNED to be ABLE TO TURN THE TIDE OF A GAME. Hence, MYTHIC.

I still think it’s the best Sniper, if not the best weapon.

That’s funny because I spawned a NornFang in my last game and have never paid for these mythic packs. Could it be because I (like most people) spent time playing the game and now have everything?
1000-300… your team was getting stomped way before nornfangs came out.
I had over 20 nornfangs in mg inventory before the mythic. Now I have over 30, I used points not money as I bet most did.
There is a chance that these people bought them, but there’s just as high of a chance that they’ve already had some for free as well.

Didn’t you spend like $100 on gold packs a few months back?

It was like six months or so back. On a nice half drunken night of Halo I got the $99 gold pack bundle because I wanted mg my H2BR and I got it. I already had unlocked a lot of stuff though.
I wish calling in a mythic meant a landslide victory! No, one player using norfang doesn’t make THAT much of a difference. I don’t even think three players using it in the same match would completely break the game.
I haven’t seen that many since the pack became available. I did have one game yesterday though where half of the other team had them but fortunately they all sucked so it was free Nornfangs for everyone.
Just finished playing now too and managed to steal 4 of them from people who were busy admiring themselves. It’s a great weapon for sure, it’s not a god mode code.

Agreed. If the score was closer together and you lost then it’s a little more debatable. But no, your team wasn’t any good that game if you lost by 700 points.
At this point in time most smart players should have been saving up req points to get the packs. It was only really a problem when they first dropped the month of mythic on us, after that it took a week to save for the SPNKR Prime, and then I had enough left over the get more Nornfangs. That said, It’s still a very unbalanced system and definitely gives players an advantage in exchange for cash. As someone with Mythics I can say I’ve taken a base with almost all of them on my own at some point, save for the CE Mag, which I never use, and the Nornfang, which I’ve only used once.
