Just passed SR50...

And I don’t know which Spec to enlist in. I think I might aim towards the armor that looks the coolest. But do I have to follow the role of the Spec or armormod to level up and unlock the armor? Like, Operator, do I have to always be the driver to gain xp? I like to snipe AND engage in cloak-and-dagger…engagements. I love the SAW, also. So what’s up? All I have found so far are what they might do. Can anyone blast my mind with some knowledge before I go?

They’re basically just support upgrades. You can only really use them after getting 10 levels into it. ie you need lv60 before you can actually use the first specialization loadout. Also you ca continue to play how ever you want no matter which specialization you are.

Thanks! So, pick the one that looks the coolest. Right on!

Hmmm…Let’s see…
Uhhhhhh…

Pioneer gives you exp bonuses so I’d get that first so you can breeze through the others.

Has anyone got the Pioneer spec yet? If so how much of a difference does it make? Thanks.

What does it mean, though? Will I always get double exp? I guess I dont get what an armor mod is. I’m so confused! Does it replace your Armor Ability?! What do you mean I will breeze through the others? :frowning:

And Stalker, when I shoot 3 guys over there, or if they shoot me, and we are all still alive, will my partners get to see the waypoints/targets above their heads?

I’ve completed Pathfinder so far, and almost done Pioneer. With the Pathfinder mod, it let’s you run at normal speed while holding a turret rather than it slowing you down, it also allows you to fire machine guns (warthog turrets, mantis miniguns etc) alot longer than usual. The Pathfinder mod takes up the support upgrade slot, whereas the pioneer one will take up my tactical package slot, meaning i’d be able to use both mods at the same time. For the Armour, you have to gain certain ranks throughout the specialisation, the helmets are usually unlocked at level 4 or 5 of the specialisations by the way, just so you know.

And the last few levels of each specialisation seem to take forever to rank up lol.

Go for Operator, vehicles are fragile now and that 10% durability increase along with the EMP resistance will make all the difference.

It’s just a Support Upgrade or Tactical Package you get. It doesn’t replace your AA. The Fast Track armor mod gives you bonus XP depending on how much of the match you use it for. I don’t know if it’s double, though.

Everyone is so helpful! Let this thread exist, and help others who have “Just passed SR50”!!!

WOW! I don’t know if I just missed some thing simple but I didn’t know they took up your support and tactical slots. That really changes how I think about them. It will also make a difference in the order I choose to unlock them. Does anyone have a link to which mods take which slots? Thanks.

If you have the LE get the tracker one because it allows you to change your ordinance choices. I never seem to get the ordinance I need (Frags, speed boost, and needler are always my three choices) so I would like to change sometimes. I heard operator is good as well.

They don’t take both of the slots. I’m also wondering how much more xp the Pioneer actually gives… If I have the mod all match on me of course.

I didn’t realize they took one slot. There has to be a guide for this some where.

how significantly does rogue help your aiming?

I chose Pioneer as my 1st, just because of the Fast Track perk, should help get to through the Specialisations much quicker hopefully

How big of a difference does Pioneer make?
