I just noticed something with Cortana’s Rampancy.

Listen very closely or read the subs at 0:53

> Doctor Halsey:“We have asked you to give up your family, your childhood, your future-”

From what I see, Cortana’s rampancy takes Chief’s early memories and starts replicating them into her programming logic.

Since she is taking information from his head, this might mean bits of Cortana are still in John.

This might mean Halo 5 will have double the amount of hallucination Halo 3 did.

Either that, or Cortana used Doctor Halsey’s memories since she is replicated from her.

I don’t know about you guys, but I just found this very interesting.

Well if all the hallucinations in Halo 3 are anything to go by, those are Dr Halsey’s memories since her cloned brain is what Cortana was based off, so they probably aren’t John’s memories.

If they do add some sort of hallucination type thing like in 3, I don’t mind but please don’t slow movement speed down to like 10%, it’s what made it so annoying.
