I’m new to Halo, although I’ve played every Halo game I’ve only had the chance to play a casual amount of Halo 3 multiplayer and Reach. I’ve reached SR130 on Halo 4 but I am by no means a good player.
I see everyone bashing Halo 4 for things like Sprint and AA’s and maybe there are some good points in there. But this is a different game to the other Halos. It has different mechanics, the vehicles have a different amount of effectiveness ETC and I feel that as many decent reasons there are that people have to hate this game, there are just as many wrong reasons.
This is a different game, an advancement if you will, a different style of play that different kinds of people enjoy. In a way it’s great that all the pros from Halo 3 have a new challenge and can’t instantly be good at this game.
I’m not expecting anyone to agree with me, but personally I think that people are looking at this game in the wrong way. A new game is always going to have different mechanics, new weapons, new vehicles, new stuff in general will give the game a different feel because a single new weapon can change the whole game.
If people spent as much time utilising the new features that Halo 4 has to offer instead of bashing it, then I’m sure they would enjoy the game a lot more, it’s a shame that having a go at this game seems to be almost trending.
