I faced a squad with an Atriox, Forge and Decimus. They all started off with a leader and core infantry. Since they went with really cheap units, they were able to gain map control quite easily while we were fighting the leaders.
Not gonna lie, it was kinda funny seeing my teammate ping his base for help after he decided to expand without an armyđ

Ugghhh I just fought a Forge-Atriox-Anders group with our team being Serina-YapYap-Arbiter. Forgehog is toned down but still a bit overpowered. What was infuriating is they played the strategy âone guy builds infantry, one builds air, and one builds vehicles.â Its one of the hardest strategies to beat for the more casual player, when ever I encounter it I assume their team is a pre-arranged party team up with them each knowing their assigned role. Forgehog softened our troops then Grizzles, Sentinels, and Jump Brutes rolled in and knocked out the basesâŚ
On the bright side it felt more like a âfairâ fight than the previous season ever did. My cyclops units took out one Forgehog, and I wasnât sure I was going to lose the game until I lost one of my resource collecting bases limiting my ability to rebuild my army after further encounters.
I kind of wish there was a way to break up parties in Halo Wars 2 like what Halo has been experimenting on Warzone. Donât allow pre-arranged parties in Team War to keep it a more casual experience, while encouraging teams of three in a group chat to instead go and play Ranked 3v3 where their dominating control on the battlefield will be really put to the test.
I always thought the 3v3 meta was building 6 scarabs by 8:00.

Why do you need 6 scarabs when you can let your Atriox player solo the game with 2 and you can kick back and drink a beer.
