Just had a game where I pressed the sprint button 3 times, and it didn’t register once. It wasn’t franticly, I did it 3 times with good spacing and clear button press without pressing any other button at the same time.
It seems also feels like button presses are ignored in Halo 5 in other situations as well. Is this a known bug that 343 will fix?
I’ve never had such a bug. I know sometimes my controller is doing weird stuff when near the end of its battery life. But never have I experience something like you mention
I just changed my batteries so they are full. I even have the replay for it, but I don’t know if replay stores button presses. Normally so much stuff happens that I don’t feel sure that a button press was ignored. But this time it was so distinctly clear, as I was only moving, had lot of time, and pressed it three times in a row without button mashing.
Were you being shot? I believe you stop and can’t sprint if under fire.

I get shoulder charged by people I’m shooting at all the time. Maybe it depends on once you get your momentum going.
