Just me developing a strategy

What I love to do is play as Forge, train 12 marines and double pelican drop them into the enemy base, while researching Rocket Launchers. It’s fun to do and it’s funny if they’re rushing Hogs and don’t know how to counter them.

Sounds fun, I’ll try it.

About as fun as Elephant spamming! But to be successful is rather hard. Solo Leaders can easily end it. It can be good if you have decent team mates.

Once, I attacked an enemy base, he only had hogs that died easy. Destroyed half the base before I get rushed my their Covenant Leader. I send another force to the same guy, he only had hogs, destroyed all of them again before getting rushed my Jackals. Send a third force, fully researched, but by then he had Gauss Hogs (those things are still broken) and managed to wipe them out. Then their whole team just steam rolled us. In the time it took me to get to Tech Level 3 and rush 3 times my team mates had, one extra base a piece, the Arbiter had no units, and the other player (who had the reactor) had 4 Tanks and only had just researched Canister Shell. Each member of the other team had enough by themselves to take them on. If they were decent they could have rushed inbetween my attacks when they were busy.

Although another time, I rushed with Marines and steam rolled them. They even sent me a message to a game to try again while calling it cheap.

and on Fort Deen, you can throw a Marine into the Scout towers which will allow you to drop them behind their base without needing a hog. Can also be done with Cobras (made a few people rage quit with that one).

Thats not cheap, it just makes you a god.

I was playing with someone on my friends list and he asked me if I remember our first game that made him request me. After saying no he told me in that game I rushed with Marines, kept suppyling with more Marines, and just steam rolled all 3 members and any anti-infantry they had by myself.

Thanks for the feedback.

A long, long, long time ago, me (at the time I was known as i micro ftw) and my friends I Macro and WHATS MICROING came up with a crazy strat. (I am sure someone has come up with something similar, but this is something we came up with)

The banshee boost
On a double base map the covie would expand and the forge would click the covie. When done correctly, you can have max pop banshees before six minutes. Feel free to try it out. Enjoy

You mean the “What every single Covenant player ever does” strategy?

So every covie expands and gets pumped by a forge these days to get full pop banshees under 6 min? Oh well, enjoy anyway

It was a tongue in cheek comment about how the majority of Covenant players play the game regardless of how the game is playing out :stuck_out_tongue:

Yep that’s true.

banshees beat everything!

Double forge arby. Both forges click arby. Temple, warhouse, summit, warhouse, summit. = strongest rush possible. Next one forge clicks other for pt. Works better then you think.

not bad, but arby runs the risk of getting cheesed (without citadel)

Cyclopse spam as Forge FTW <3

If you see it coming you get it no problem. Trust me you get plenty of resourses for it.

might gonna try that out then. Should be fun. But isnt it better to go anders/forge/arby and then first feed the arby to banshees and after that feed anders to gauss. like 5 min gauss+banshees would be epic

Olympians and I started testing this out a few weeks ago with random 3rds. It works really well, beaten a few good players with it. Lost 1 time cause I funked up against ROFL and got cheesed. The thing is with two feeders you pump sooo much so early its crazy. We have been trying to keep it secret but what the hell it will get out anyway. With one feeder its just not the same.
