Come on 343. Please. If the game’s population fails, then you can tell us we were wrong. Make it like Halo 3. Good customs, FF, Forge (Reach). Even bring back Spops. But the gameplay should be classic. AAs are fine as long as they’re on the map. Sprint is dumb. Loadouts and Ordnance are plainly unHalo. There’s a reason why Halo 3 was so successful IN THE LONG TERM.

I agree. Read the comments on that website, read the comments on Youtube. Talk to players online, or look at all polls supporting more classic gameplay.
It definitely needs to go back. Will it? Probably not.

If I want to play CoD, I’ll play CoD. Did you even read the OP? I said change is good besides bad change. Adding killstreaks and perks and watered down vehicle combat and watered down maps is CoD, not to mention limited customs and Forge.
I agree to an extent. I do want to see classic Halo gameplay make a return. But there is a good number of people who enjoy the “New” Halo and like the direction it is heading in. Just because the old school fans may disagree with them, does not mean that their opinions are any less valid and that they should be completely ignored. There is room for both fans and styles of gameplay in the Halo community, we just need to be open minded about how we approach the future of Halo. The “Halo needs to be this way, if it isn’t it’s not Halo” attitude will cause nothing but trouble as we move forward.
Or they could just cater to the both the classic and infinity lovers. I really think that’s the best route, no need to tell one section of the fanbase to screw themselves just because another section doesn’t like infinity variants. I like classic halo but I don’t mind infinity variants (at least when im playing with friends) . I also don’t understand the problem with sprint, it would be incredibly dubious if supersoldiers weren’t able to sprint. In fact if I’m not mistaken, Master Chief ran briefly at 70 mph in full mjolnir armor, he tore a tendon running at that speed but he still did it. And thats cause he was pushing it, any other Spartan sprinting won’t try to go close to those speeds. And I really don’t see how It affects gameplay but if it really does than would you not be willing to leave it for Campaign and Spartan Ops, there really isn’t a need to scrap it completely. Just my 2 cents
