Im not one to complain on skill, BUT FOR THE LOVE OF GOD PLEASE MAKE THE MATCH MAKING BETTER! Now that the rant is over with, I just had the worst teams that I had ever, and I mean EVER played with in Halo and they were Diamond rank. I’m telling you, if you play Arena, PLEASE have a MIC, I cannot fathom players not having a mic in competitive modes, it makes no sense at all, I can’t take not having someone to communicate with on Breakout of all games you need to communicate on that one!
Before you people say “Get your own squad” and etc, there are people out there who do just fine on their own.
Wanna know how to get better? Compete with players outside of you comfort zone. Learn from your matches, and change your strategy to make yourself a better player… Or go play call of duty to get your instant gratification for beating 8 year olds I don’t care…

I know this can be tough but you gotta do it, I find myself with team mates going 3 -14 or worse and there is nothing you can do you have to suck it up and keep moving forward. KILLS me when my k/d goes down because of putting the team on my back, but I don’t want to leave the match it makes the experience worse for everyone else involved.
You complain that they don’t have mics, but there can be a variety of reasons for it. Depending on what time they play, they might not want to wake people up. Or the fact that the mic is super flimsy. Mine broke within a few months of buying my xbox one. I can still hear people with it, they just can’t hear me. There is no reason to quit because of a bad team. If you think your teams are always so bad, play free for all.
Quitters of any kind should be banned regardless of how bad of a team you are playing with. Can’t stand people who just quit because the game isn’t going their way.

Funny thing is, quitting is just not the way to go about something like this. Quitting makes the game worse for everyone. I can’t fathom the people who quit because they get butthurt they’re losing. I’m telling you, if you’re playing Arena,PLEASESTOP** complaining and go into Arena with a TEAM, I can’t fathom players not having a Team in a c**ompetitive mode, it makes no sense at all, I can’t take having someone complain about losing then quitting midway through the match, if you’re playing on a Breakout match, then you probably need to be rolling in a Squad!!
And after you said, for people to stop telling you to roll in a squad, the answer is: “you need to be rolling in a squad.” According to you, everyone should be doing amazingly great on your team that they shouldn’t even need to be using a mic like you said they should be doing since they’re all amazing Plat 5 players.
And OP, this isn’t an attack, I just don’t like quitters. And you need to at least consider that your team may be communicating but they’re in a Party or something? Perhaps they’re a man down, and with the way the lobby system works, it’s impossible to send someone on your team a party invite since teams are inconspicuously placed. Plus, not everyone can afford a mic or mic adapter. But quitting is the worse, just stick it through and stop complaining.

This also sucks, I hate having to put the team on my back because they can’t get more than a kill. But people leaving ruins the game for everyone else.

Stop telling people they HAVE to have a mic. They probably don’t want to listen to you be all whinny for 10 minutes while you order everyone around.
Your a quitter so you are obviously not as good as you think you are.
All the good players or people who have played since CE, we got ok/decent/good/great by learning how to lose and overcome what our weaknesses are.
If you quit you will never get better.
Only acceptable quit in Halo 5 is when you are the 1 in a 1v4.
If it’s 4v4 and you are the first to quit…YOU are ten the problem…
Kids grow up getting whatever they want and aren’t ever taught how to lose.
Most people who played an organized sport won’t quit where as all the whiners who never did usually quit stuff because they haven’t ever lost or can’t handle it and are too immature.
People like TC are the only people ruining an otherwise great experience.

I’ve never left an arena game until today, don’t even say I’m selfish cause I don’t care what you two have to say or anybody else. I can state what I feel about match making on here and that’s what I do.
I have to sympathize a little because we all have had the issue of teammates who hold the controller upside down but Halo 5 feels a little worse then usual. I just played three, 3v4 matches because of teammates leaving and then finally a 2v4 because of the same issue and dropped from diamond 3 to 1. I think there needs to be a system created to fix something like that because I am all ears to hear what I did wrong to lose those games and deserved to go down 2 ranks.

Actually I have a mic myself and I never use it in competitive modes. Just too many idiots for me. I like to play so I play. But the amount of terrible people I run into on Live is enough to make me turn it off.
As for the terrible teams I never quit. I have had matches where I carried the team and almost won. Had players standing around doing nothing. Still no quitting. Had one match where it was blatantly obvious that one of our players was coordinating with someone on the other team. Would run right to him and never shoot at all. Just get killed. Still stayed in the game.
And have had some SWAT matches where the game insists on spawning me into death before I can more, repeatedly. Cost me a few matches. Still not quitting. But then I have had matches go that way early and come back from it.
I see no reason to quit unless it is important. Like an emergency in the house. Even a bathroom emergency since standing around as an easy kill for the other team is the worst. And a very occasional quit I am guessing would not hurt so quitting in those situation might be for the best.
I hate when people quit! Then there is no point loosing 3vs4, because 4th player never ever joins!
Then other people quit because there is no point in dying and loosing the match.

I never said you were selfish, I just said that you’re ruining the game for everyone else. The amount of times that people have left my game is outrageous, and you know what I did and do every single time? I stay in the match so I don’t disappoint my fellow teammates that decided to stick with me and put up a fight.
