Just how many Commendations are there?

To anyone that possibly has the game early (lucky), how many commendations are there roughly, and how hard is it in your opinion to rank up in one commendation. They haven’t talked really heavily on this, just that there would be hundreds of them and they would unlock various skins and armor. Also mentioned that these would be still be getting obtained way after you got to a SR - 130

They had better be more reasonable than Reach. A lot of Reach’s Commendations were nearly impossible to get to Onyx.

According to what I read in one of the Bulletins there are 120+ Commendations to get in Halo 4.

If this is the case, I do hope they take a little less time to max than Reach’s. Almost 25 days of gameplay and I have like eight at most simply onyx.

I only know one person with Rear Admiral at Onyx, and he usually gets at least one assassination every game! It was just a ridiculous number!

My Rear Admiral is barely Gold, you need 2,000 alone for Gold which is frustrating in its own right.

Mines at Gold right now but still quite far away from Onyx.
