Just had an interesting moment in Spartan Ops

In the second chapter of the latest episode, everything was going fine until about the last third of the mission. The enemies that spawned were just guns that were skating across the ground, like the rest of the enemy had been glitched through the ground and the only thing keeping it around was it’s gun still on the battlefield. Pretty much had to aim for the handle or be lucky enough to get close and melee it. Makes it really difficult when there are 2-4 concussion rifles skating across the ground twice the speed of an Elite. Oh ya, they could still somehow throw grenades.

One thing I noticed though was that when the enemy died, it’s animation rig would pop out of the ground, but with the gun still anchored to the ground. So it would sort of flail wildly before settling and quickly despawning.

Really wish I had theater in Spartan Ops to record it. Has anyone else had this happen to them?

Yeah it’s a glitch. The covi are actually tiny. It’s a strange issue. There are other threads about it.

I got it also. I was more surprised to find out that theater only works on War Games. How are we supposed to send in campaign fails and spartan ops fails to achievement hunters?

Only interesting thing I’ve noticed is that you can get in the Pelican’s top turret and side turrets if you have a jetpack. If you avoid going near the objective, the level won’t end so you’re free to fire as long as you want.
