So after beating the campaign on legendary (solo) I can honestly say that 343 did an outstanding job with this game. I thought the campaign was going to be short with there only being 8 missions but it was the exact opposite. I love the campaign and the multiplayer both! I give this game a perfect 10/10!
Now time to terrorize people in the multiplayer in my Mark VI Armor! 
Do you need to download it from Waypoint or something? I donāt have access to high speed so I havenāt played MM yet, but I finished solo Legendary yesterday but all I have is Recruit armor.
Without giving any spoilers, how hard is the campaign on legendary solo?
Iām running through it on Heroic solo and I personally think while itās not easy, itās not actually insanely difficult eitherā¦

Thereās one battle thatās pretty hard, but overall itās very doable. Nothing like Halo 2.

It seems like you do less damage to enemies because it takes two melees to kill a grunt when it takes one on normal, they fight aggressively, Prometheans are a pain in the -Yoink- for me because they always chase and hunt me whenever I try to recharge my shields, oh and prepare to die a lot.

Its pretty easy I think I beat the campaign in 5 hours. I also had a lot of flawless missions. But thatās because Iām a campaign nerd and for some reason on any game Halo, Call of Duty, Battlefield, The Elder Scrolls, etc. I can beat the game on the highest difficulty right off the bat and usually in a few hours.
Did you get the armor instantly? And does rank matter to unlock it? I just beat the game solo on Legendary. I got the achievements and it says I beat every level on legendary. Not seeing the armorā¦

Yeah I had the armor in my Armory instantly. After I beat the campaign I went to Infinity and there were new items marked in the Armory. Iām a level 24 if that helps.

Just figured it out, friend. All you gotta do is while on the main menu, press start and go to career - commendations - player - campaign. Your campaign commendations will show which one(s) didnāt register as completed on Legendary.

I am doing Solo on Legendary and I have to say it is way harder then the Halo 2 Campaign. My friends agree also.

Actually the first few missions I died like crazy but then I ended up having a lot of flawless missions.
Iām almost finished with the campaign on legendary and I can honestly say it only feels like legendary when the prometheans show up -___-
Yeahā¦ I havent gotten the opportunity to beat it yet but the first two levels were really irritating. I felt like all I used was the Plasma Pistol hahaā¦ Another question. Is the Mark VI armor the reward for beating campaign on solo legendary? Is there any other rewards?

Halo 2 is harder than Halo 4 IMO.
I liked the Campaign and difficulty of it, but I think the story was a little lackluster (honestly, mainly the final mission). Also, a strategy I used for the Prometheans were:
Crawler: Kill these second (first if there are no Watchers). Head shot them, automatics arnāt very good against them.
Watcher: Kill these first. Takes roughly 5 or 6 shots to kill them with the BR/DMR/LR. Magnum and Boltshot take about the same.
Promethean Knight: Kill these last. Surprisingly, I wouldnāt recommend a āhead shotā gun. I think this was the only halo game where I wanted an automatic. When the Crawlers/Watchers are dead, charge with the AR/Storm Rifle/Suppressor and when his shields pop, (I noticed blue ooze?) circle him while meleeing. I also noticed if you run away they start patrolling. I was able to assassinate a few of them, but they tend to look behind them.

I canāt connect to internet right now, I donāt have high speed. Did you need to access Infinity to unlock it,or just to see what mission didnāt count? I heard from someone that there is lagtime of 1 mission so completing any mission will register the previous one. Iāll see if thatās right and I get the armor soon, Iām doing Dawn on Legendary with 3 skulls for the achievement right now.
Edit - Still donāt have it. I guess Iāll have to connect to XBL.

I heard that someone got Mark VI from co-op Legendary, canāt guarantee itās true. I hope it requires solo, co-op is as easy as Normal.
