I mean MY GOD it was bad tonight mates, and didn’t get any better. This afternoon, I was doing pretty darn good, had around 18-20 kills, and won most of the matches that I played with competent teammates every time. Fast forward to this evening? It was nothing but choking upon choking, missing head shots, being paired with brain dead teammates, various tactics that worked not working for me anymore, and just generally making a fool out myself haha.
It was baaad people. Has anyone else had any really bad days with H5 so far?
Everyone has bad days playing a multiplayer game. Even the best of the best. I’ve just learned to not get caught up in the failures and learn from mistakes such as bad positioning on the map, engaging at the wrong time, chasing someone that will most likely put me in a bad spot, bad aim, etc. Going into customs and practicing your aim with a friend helps tremendously.
Unfortunately you’re going to get matched up with bad teammates if you’re going in solo. It’s just how it is. Just gotta have fun and laugh off the chokes and stupid deaths.
A good tip that I sometimes do is if I’m getting completely destroyed by a clearly better player than me, instead of raging and calling them names, I say good game and go right into theater and watch his/her perspective and learn his/her map positioning, what weapons he/she uses, when they engage, who they focus their shots more on, etc.
Dude I’ve gone to Plat 6 like 10 times just to get caught in a losing streak and pummel down to Plat 1 again. I’m on Plat 5 right now and I’m too scared to when try and get my damn promotion already.
My biggest problem is i end up with people who are better then me on the other team then people worse then me on my team, which is why i use too play FFA but no one plays that anymore ):
Had a bad day in my games today, even though we won a bunch because of teamwork.
The terrible map, Pegasus, had me raging to the point on making a stupid thread about it, one guy intentionally team killing just so we’d lose then getting taunted pissed me off to the moon, and generally wasn’t doing so good. Not a good day

Thanks for that mate, I just had to turn it off and get away from it for the night. We’ll see if tomorrow is any better eh? Tonight was really a “wtf just happened?” Kind of moment haha, as if the tables got completely flipped.

imagine being close to getting diamond 5 on Swat, then lose game after game till you’re down to diamond 1. That was last week for me, and I’m going to have to solo back up to it at the end of this week.
Why solo?
Because I take pride in being a lone wolf…and because me have no friends ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°).
Been on a pretty bad losing streak recently. As in, losing 3 matches in a row, then getting a win. This counts for anything. And for the love of god it is impossible to Lone Wolf Team Arena.
I hit platinum 6 ---- 8 times today. Devoted 6 hours of my day… Only to start at plat 5 and end at plat 5. I am always top 2 on the team win or lose… Each time I was in a game to put me in diamond… I got matched against multiple onyx level players, had a quitter or two on my team, got disconnected, or got what was clearly a horrid server connection. today was not so much a lag nightmare, or even a bad day on my part…

I was over-ranked in slayer, being placed in diamond. It was rough, I barely broke even in K/D and W/L. Hopefully ranking will be more accurate in the new season.

Edit: You can’t go down to a completly different rank like silver to bronze, however you could drop from silver 5 to silver 1.
I was having a rough time the other night and just wanted to get offline. I told my girlfriend I’m just gonna play one more warzone assault. I lost that game so bad I had to play again until I get a win… I lost 9 straight warzone assault matches. Not once did it put me on defense and it was the Dispatch map 6 times. I was raging. Finally won the 10th game… On defense. Now I’m on a great winning streak in Arena so I’m happy again lol.

Because champions are the top 200 players in the world based on their onyx csr rank. Onyx and champion are continuous. Not only have I not seen it, but it’s been confirmed by twitch chat, streamers, players I’ve met online… Etc

I had a couple of team mates in Slayer who would just be idle for minutes at a time for a few games yesterday when I was playing solo. Kind of annoyed me but just played a solo game of Slayer before and had a good team and we won straight away.
OP, thats a rough day. We all have them, and it sucks. Honestly, if I have a 50/50 WL I am pretty happy because I am a casual player, but there are those 0/100 days for sure. Just gotta fire up The Library on Legendary, lots of skulls… multiplayer doesn’t seem all that bad anymore
