My internet has been going in and out the entire week and it just went out (again) in the middle of my arena game. This happens to me all the time so I wasn’t bothered, so I quit the game and waited for my internet to get back up. Once it was up and I opened the game, I got a message saying I was banned from arena for quitting and I kid you not I literally jumped out of my chair I was so scared. I googled it and Halo 5 doesn’t have appeals for some reason so I’m screwed?
Unless it is a repeated offence, the ban won’t be long, and generally will reset after a certain amount of time. A “cool down” period, if you will. There will normally be an in-game notification telling you how long your ban is when you try to re-enter matchmaking.

So if my internet keeps going out and I’m in a game it will eventually add up to a permanent ban?
