People accept that armors don’t give any benefits, so why are you bringing this up like people will care about it? Because most people don’t care, at least I don’t, and judging by how popular certain armors are in Halo and how popular character customization is in games, I’m gonna assume most people don’t care if armors don’t do anything. Armor in Halo is no different from a simple avatar editor. Armor is like fashion. People like customizing their armor because people like to express themselves. THAT’S why people care about getting xp in the first place, because leveling up gives you more armor to customize yourself. It has nothing to do with armors giving substantial boosts in defense or whatever, because Halo has never done that. But I’m gonna guess you’re just gonna ignore what I and countless others have explained to you about this, and just go on to tell other people that armor means nothing, in discussions where people don’t give a crap about that, because judging by how many times you post about this sort of thing repeatedly in a number of forums over and over again, it seems you’re determined, and reeeallly trying to prove something almost in a sort of unrelenting and aggressive manner. I’m just gonna say that what you’re trying to prove, isn’t going to work and hasn’t worked on people, including me. STOP TRYING TO MAKE PEOPLE NOT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMIZATION! You’re trying to turn something as simple as “I wonder how cool I can make myself look” into something like “There’s no point to changing how I look.” I know I’m being sensitive, but the way you talk to people who care about this sort of thing is demeaning and depressing.
I’m not sure where you think you are convincing anyone of anything, it’s not possible to convince people on Waypoint of anything. You could copy and paste replies or even waste hours of your time typing up a topic detailing why armor is useless and you still won’t convince anyone of anything.
I agree. The current challenge system has made me an incredibly anti social player. I dont want to play with my friends anymore because its hard to get our challenges synced up. I miss playing casual, chaotic halo
