Had the Kill 3 Enemy Spartans defending their flag challenge, which I most definitely did in 2 games but it only registered one each game.
Got banned from jumping games trying to get CTF again.

Sounds well deserved to me.
Challenges seem to have issues registering for example i feel like if you get a kill but that kill also turns out to be an assist, reguardless that the game marks it as a kill somehow the fact that YOU didn’t do all the work killing that player it doesn’t count for the challenge, Little nitpicks like this make challenges even worse…

Enjoy playing a game where no one else actually ‘plays’ because challenges are the main focus and not gameplay.

Yeah, the challenges are not great. I now have to WIN 3 stronghold matches. But GETTING a stronghold match is a 1/4 chance.
Seperate Slayer, Stronghold, Capture the Flag and Oddball playlists should be in the game if 343i wants to continue these specific challenges. This looks like nothing more than trying to keep you in the game as long as possible, which is NOT player first. To be honest I see more “player first” thinking in games like Destiny 2 and CoD. 
The best solution would be for all challenges to be open all the time.

But that would make it less likely for you to pay to get through weekly challenges and buy challenge swaps, we can’t have that… Sarcasm by the way…
