Any tips for “Look out for the little guys” achievement?

Nice! I will get all the achievements tomorrow. Some of them do look challenging but it will be lots of fun.

get 2 controllers and sign in on your second controller. use your main profile on the first controller as a dummy. so the second account can kill everything and finish the mission and the first one stands still and does nothing. after you finish the mission the main profile who just stood still gets the achievement.
sry my english is not that good

Congrats, did you do Solo Legendary for the campaign or did you have a partner?

I see no value in getting an achievement if I have to cheat like this to get it, and this really is a form of cheating.

Then get a friend to do co-op with you and achieve the same result. The achievement does not specify that you have to do it solo so this is hardly “cheating”.

After you use a code it tells you a background image has been unlocked. What are these and how can they be used?

Either the level can be completed without killing grunts or it can’t. If it’s possible, then having one player do all the grunt killing so another can get the achievement seems like cheating to me. If it’s not possible to complete without someone killing grunts then I agree it’s not cheating to do it co-op, but I always think of tricks that use a guest and an unmanned controller as cheating.

760 Master race.

Take out the Elite and let the Sentinels deal with the Grunts. Then take the Sentinels out and deal with the reinforcements. Then deal with the Elites, the Jackals, and go up the stairs from which you can drop down past the Grunts and take the left path (unless you want to snipe the Wraith driver) from which you can either go up the elevator and snipe from there or systematically eliminate the Elites and run for the Banshee. Or maybe just go up the elevator, snipe the Elites, then land on the ledge below the rock bridge and you’ll have skipped the Grunts.

Once you have reached the room after the air defense Grunts, grenade jump up to the ledge, deal with the 2 Jackals, then snipe the 2 Elites and make a mad dash for the other side while the Grunts are panicking.

In theory this should work.

I can sort of understand what you mean, but you have to take the achievement as it is. If you want to legitimately get it by yourself and feel you’ve actually achieved the achievement, more power to you. But it’s not like someone is exploiting a glitch with the game or game saving to get this achievement.

If you wanted to do this by yourself I don’t see how it would be that hard with a little planning. Remember you can just run past lots of covenant and still progress. This specifies Heroic or higher so it’s not too hard in some spots. The only real challenge would be near the beginning where you’re just fighting covenant.

You also have to be careful when you steal the banshee not to run over any grunts. Once the flood come it’s pretty easy. It only specifies that YOU don’t kill a grunt so ills by flood or kills from grunts nading themselves do not count.

-Yoink- it, I can’t take it anymore. On Legendary, this is near impossible. I got past the Grunts, I even managed to get the Banshee into the hall with their fuel rod shots. But getting on that ledge is a pain in the -Yoink-!!

Now I understand why it’s on Heroic or higher.

And I took the right path, took out the Elites, took out the Wraith pilot, and went straight for the Banshee. I can’t stand being unable to kill Grunts. :frowning:

i tried the achievement at least 5 times in a row. i never killed any grunts for sure but i also never got the achievement except for the 2 player method
and yes i did it solo legendary but with the bandana skull activated but it was still pain in the *** sometimes

I don’t have a problem with an achievement being a challenge, even if it’s beyond my ability, which some have been in other games.

The possibility of failure is what makes success sweet when I achieve it.

same to me  but after 5 failures it gets a bit frustrating because every try i was 100% sure i didn´t kill any grunts >_>

codes can only be used 1 time?
