It’s clear 343 cares nothing for this and neither does Microsoft, the collection was a waste and an extremely poor showing for the Halo series.
I come back every so often in hopes that the franchise is worth it anymore, but more and more I am reminded that this franchise is dead or dying. It would take a full blown miracle at this point to save this franchise and sadly I do not see Halo 5 being that miracle. I will try to enjoy what we had all those years ago, but at this point I can’t justify a Halo purchase going forward.
And for the Mods in here, yes this is constructive because I have been a Halo fan from the beginning and if I can’t talk about the bad along with the good in here, this forum is a waste of everyone’s time.

This was an elite series, once in a lifetime games, you’ll never see games like these again. 343 took over and absolutely butchered this game to a pathetic level. Its 12 years since halo 2 came out and the current servers are slower than way more sloppy than that. I’m sorry, but guys, the series is dead. Nothing but profit and money in mind for these guys…

Shows you haven’t touched the game because I haven’t had any issues for a long time. I have over 2100 multiplayer games played, a gamer score of 5525 and tons of play time. The recent CU has fixed the downloading recent data for most and was mainly for installing penalties for quitting and betraying.

Speak for yourself alone. This CU completed my mcc and the game works 100 percent correct now. Smooth gameplay and a minute tops getting into every playlist. And im from Australia where we had it worse off than anywhere in the world

Burned repeatedly? Halo CE anniversary had no issues, Halo 4 I didn’t have any major issues other than the weak “ranking” system but the game worked fine. Just because you didn’t like the game doesn’t mean others didn’t. H4 got a lot of undue hate. MCC has been their first flop for me and I guess I have been lucky because I have had no major issues with the game since mid February.

See how selfish you are? The only answers you have is I didn’t see that, this didn’t happen to me, I haven’t dealt with it. The fact that YOU didn’t have the issues doesn’t mean they are fixed, take a look on the forums and realize that more people have to deal with these issues daily! Call the game fixed for YOU, for most of us it isn’t.
And yet, Halo 5 will still bring in millions of dollars and continue to perpetuate the franchise without your purchase, OP. Halo may be dead for you, but it’s still going strong for a lot people.
MCC was the only significant disappointment from 343, but even then I don’t feel “burned” or “betrayed” in any way, certainly not by 343 specifically. I just know that sh** happens, and I was willing to ride out MCC’s rough launch because I love Halo enough to deal with the ups and the downs.
In short, don’t project your personal feelings onto everyone who plays Halo.

People act as if it’s.inconceivable that the game actually works. So me saying it hasn’t happened to me is because the game works for me therefore it must work for others. Whoever can say this game isn’t broken or backs up 343 is delusional. From start to finish this game has had more problems than any other game I have ever played. Microsoft should be ashamed for working with 343 and releasing a MCC bundle. For me, personally, purchasing the bundle just to have an Xbox One to play Halo only was a mistake and not worth it because I expected so much out of both the system and the game and they both were an epic failing disappointment.

I think it’s clear who is the blind one here! And the game being in a better condition than launch doesn’t mean it’s working.

I am just stating facts. It’s getting old seeing people whine here and make accusations like 343 doesn’t care and they aren’t fixing it and they did it on purpose for H5… all baseless yoink. 343 has made massive improvements to the game.

If you were stuck on the downloading latest data error for weeks you’d want to vent. Getting taken to task for it would just be salt in the wound.
