im guessing the time 343 gets out all the so called UPDATES LMAO like infection, halo 6 should be made… Its just so funny to see all threads on each so called UPDATE they release lol or gametype we already should have had in the beginning…Im sorry but the EWWWWWSSS AND THE AWWWWWWSS are gone lmao 343 so just let out all the game types and let us get on with this game until halo 6 please!!!

I have to agree I don’t understand what is taking so long. Understand they want content for their “monthly updates” but come on already… is this the future of gaming? The game types are there we have seen them. I understand they want to be careful after than faceplant of a game release MCC… but this slow?

I don’t believe they planned some of these types in advance. They are taking community feedback and scratching stuff out.

Its not just a simple matter of copy and paste from past games. H5 runs on a different engine which means they have to rework everything into it, then they have to make sure everything works with the new sandbox and make sure there are no bugs. Fixing one bug can cause 20 more to appear so yes it is a slow process.

This game has been in development for years. There should be more by now really.

It wasn’t so much a new engine rather than many parts of it were overhauled in a way that made certain things not so cut and dry to just include willy-nilly.
According to them in that GameInformer article about Infection, they couldn’t just port the gametypes from Reach or 4 and work off of that code because so much was changed on that front alone, not to mention all the other stuff.
Like PBR, adding content on the fly through patching (impossible/highly-unfeasible before) and the general improvements that come with a generation jump.
And that’s why you delay your launch.

No im not paying for playlists when i paid for the dam game already 2. Im tired of excuses on whats taking so long when they had 3 years to work on it and 6 more months since launch. 3. do u think call of duty releases 1/4 made games and then have excuses for it…
Listen 343 had a chance to learn from their faults from halo 4 and obviously didnt. Theres now so many excuses on well its not codded the same or or or… Its unexceptable in all the players eyes and thats why you have so many complaints about this game.
Yes theres good points the game for each person but theres so much left out that we all had with other halo games. Honestly i dont think it matters anymore what they bring out halo 5s player base has disipated and been disappointed. They might as well work on halo 6 now…

You do know Halo 6 has been in production longer than Halo 5 right
They are using H5 as a beta test system
