When I started Super Fiesta, I only had standard loadout commendations done. Now I am about 95% of the way to being done with all weapon commendations, and I did it all through Super Fiesta.
I can say with certainty that I am NOT going to finish the remaining 5% of the commendations in Super Fiesta, and I am NEVER going to play that horrible game mode again.
My suggestion to make the game mode fun and not a quite literal festering cancer mode is to DISABLE WEAPON PICKUPS.
Death 1: Rocket Launcher
Death 2: Rocket Launcher
Death 3: Rocket Launcher
Death 4: Beam Rifle
Death 5: Rocket Launcher
Death 6: Incineration Cannon
Death 7: Rocket Launcher
You get the picture now. I don’t mind that rockets are included, but when nearly EVERY encounter is a Rocket launcher, fuel rod cannon, or incineration cannon, it’s enough to make you rage, literally! Super Fiesta is the only game mode to have ever made me scream at the top of my lungs at the TV. Not even pubstomping Warzone or pubstomping Grifball has ever done that to me.
This would actually add a layer of skill and fun into Super Fiesta, as people would be restricted to what they spawn with, rather than the winning team is the one who is running around with nothing but explosives. It would actually better fit the description on the loading screen, which is “Chaos at its finest”.
/rant. Sorry I am so salty guys. Just genuinely hate this game mode now, and I feel that it could all be fixed with a simple disabling of weapon pickups. Gonna take my salt and go finish the last of my weapon commendations in Warzone matches. Wish me luck that we aren’t pubstomped like every other Warzone game is!
Yesssssssssss! I made a post similar to this a while ago! I just locked my topic so yours can get some attention (plus my topic was a really long time ago) but have a read if you’re interested.
Prepare to be steam-rolled by haters lol.

Haha yeah I’m pretty used to being steam rolled by haters on here :p.
The last major patch, where they changed Grifball into Grifball pro settings. I made a well constructed feedback post about why I believe that Grifball pro is bad for public Grifball matches, because Grifball pro is a much more skillful setting, and only makes bad players even worse, and good players even better at the game mode. Spawn trapping has increased dramatically since Grifball Pro was implemented. When I made that post, I was ran out of town with pitchforks lol. People weren’t even trying to argue against my point, it was just strait up reply after reply filled with hate.
My body is ready!
Edit: Just read through your post and a lot of the replies in it. I was baffled by the amount of people who kept referencing “skill” or “competitive” or “RNG” when arguing your point.
Super Fiesta should be RNG, as that’s literally what chaos means in a nut shell. If you get a pistol and a plasma pistol, better learn how to use them! Get a Rocket launcher? Enjoy, your most likely not getting one next spawn. Get the Prophets Bane? You better go on a spree and cherish that bad boy! Map control should have nothing to do with a game mode that is chaotic. Team A shouldn’t be able to control explosives, then trap team B in their spawn and blow them up over and over.
I’ll agree the Super Fiesta weapon spawns are bizarre. More often than not I spawn with some a scattershot and a magnum.
