Yeah, I’m having a hard time deciding whether or not the Halo 2 ending or the Halo 5 ending was more cruel in terms of cliffhangars.

Then again, we actually know there will be a Halo 6, whereas with Halo 2, there wasn’t a clear confirmation of a Halo 3 (IIRC?)

It reminds of me of Halo 2, as Halo 5 is the second game in the reclaimer trilogy, after all.

Very satisfying campaign with one HELL of a cliffhanger, and a ground breaking multiplayer.

I agree, these upcoming years will be painful.

Im debating which is harder, 2 or 5 on solo legendary. Damn the darn warden eternal.

I had the same feeling. Campaign wise, this was the greatest game I’ve ever played.

343 is doing fantastic work on with this series, I cannot wait for Halo 6.

It was the most anticlimactic premise and ending ever featured in a Halo game.

Lol. I almost cried. I was like “Oh something amazing is about to happen!!!” (after the HUGE ending) and then “Took you long enough.” credits sadface

Halo 2: Humanity fights on, Covenant is falling apart, Cortana’s alone with Gravemind, Chief is returning to finish the fight.
Halo 5: A friend is now an enemy, everyone has all but fallen, and a handful remain to face the upcoming challenges.

Personally I’ve got to go with 5.
