There has to be more people on these threads that understand programming, troubleshooting and test.
I work for a rather large company myself that integrates software into facilities and at times we do run into rather large problems and issues. They happen and screaming does nothing but what people need to understand this isn’t a fix nor a quick fix, it helped just enough to take some tension off.
My understanding and knowledge of being a program analysis shows this won’t be fully fixed or resolved until Jan/Feb so just go back to everything you were doing. I hate to say it, but you won’t be getting anything back for “free” at best we get something they can offer at no cost to them. Longer beta for Halo 5 or an extra gold free game a month (won’t be anything new).
Don’t bother mentioning class action suites, by the time anything came of it, you might get $5 back and it would take forever with paperwork.
It sucks yes, but life goes on. Go back to League or other game.
My basic breakdown for what I see:
Too many issues on different aspects of the game. You can’t fix 5 aspects at one time, you fix one and then test. Most testing takes 2-4 days at minimum depending on the fixes. At this point, they can release the code to resolve those or hold it and keep making changes to the new code. One big reason they can’t just fix one thing and release it is because one line of code in section A and be broken when something in B is modified.
Stop screaming on the forums, I play 3-5 games of Halo a day at this point then I get annoyed. Return to LoL to play with my buddies.
Just put the game down and come back after they have 4-5 weeks to address the majority of the issues combined with 1-2 weeks of testing mixed it between fixed.
I hate what I have but this is the world on technology, there is nothing I can do about it but move on for now. It’s life people, many things will happen in your life, this is just a petty problem at best.
