Took this day off solely for the release of this game. Today has been one of the biggest bummers I’ve had in a while. I hate to see a game I love so much get such a -Yoink- release that will clearly hurt the game in the long run. Seems like this game was rushed heavily because there are bugs everywhere. Ugh. Just disappointed.
I tell you what man… its hard to argue with all the Cod fans after this… What a let down

Lol at the prophet joke I thought that too, but yeah today has just sucked I’m sad to see this is day 1 and no one is enjoying the game (unless you don’t mind the multiplayer not working)

I’m with ya Sneaky… took off work and wasted a ton of valuable free time with this mess. Really bummed and hope 343 or whoever released this garbage learns their lesson. This is why you have live betas. I honestly might sell my copy back to gamestop tomorrow. With so little time and many better games I’m not sure I can afford to waste any more on this.
I took a day off too, we had a whole crew set up to LAN (which is a feature that is gone!) and also do MM but noooooo…customs hardly even work! Rosters hardly show up. Halo 3 BR start started switching to AR start mid game. Slayer BR on Zanzibar on H2:A switched to Multiflag when the map loaded.
It’s a mess
Today is why you don’t miss school/ work for a video game. Just be disappointed in the afternoon like everyone else.
I can’t wait for all of you to be saying how much fun this game is in a few weeks. Hypocrites…

I think you’re confused on what the word “hypocrite” means…
If we all made a big fuss about how bad this game’s launch went, and then we all banded together to release our own game which also had a botched launch, and try to downplay it as not a big deal… THAT might make us hypocrites. I agree with you, though. I, too, can’t wait til we’re a few weeks past launch and the game is fixed.
I took about 4 days off… and I’m a casual so i don’t get sick time off etc… so I’m extremely disappointed…
SneakyWill51 I feel yah man. This Halo series is a long time gamer staple and it is sad to see it so unorganized on such a highly anticipated launch.
Very, very underwhelmed with this release, especially seeing as I purchased an Xbox One for precisely this game. Like others I took a day off work for the game only to be met with an experience nigh unplayable.

I think they managed to give us a TON of content, packed into one game. Do I expect problems at launch? Absolutely. Do I expect over 20+ bugs and counting all varying from missing features (that were once available), to missing sounds/crashes? No. Regardless, I’m happy with my purchase. Yes I took the day off, yes I -Yoinked!- about it, but thats just who I am.
My only REAL gripe is you cannot convince me that 343 didn’t know of at least HALF of these bugs at launch. Thats what a frickin QA team is for. They are paid to test the game. The only thing a QA team cant really test is VOLUME of users.
You know a game is in a bad state when you have bugs like being able to boot your opposition from matchmaking and the game putting you in strangers custom games.
That’s like QA 101.
I got mad about matchmaking not working. I got even more mad when the first terminal you can access in campaign crashed my -Yoink- game. Seriously. I turned the damn thing off after that.

I felt the same way. Maybe pick it up in a month when they get this sorted.
The running joke with our group is they only had 10 years to get this anniversary edition worked out…give them a break. /sarcasm
