just spoke to Microsoft and asked for a refund of 2000 msp for the map pass for this game that doesnt work . since its come out ive have really laggy games and for the past 24 hours I can join a match or play spartan ops due to the servers down . they are sorting it out and will get back to me in the next couple of days . I suggest you all do the same . BYE BYE halo and 343 I will not be coming back . hello Battlefield 3 and dice with your great support teams . I’ll get COD as well i think .
I think its more a point in principle since the multiplayer, lag, JIP is terrible so it makes no sense to continue down the multiplayer route - map pass was purchased in good faith and 343/MS have not made good on that hence the refund request.
but with every game dont you get a degree of lag? and saying that my halo 4 experiences have been great! people are nicer online because of the abuse filter thing and the guns feel pretty balanced to me and yes, i do include the boltshot too!
there’s no refund bud. when you buy anything over xbox live, there’s the screen that pops up letting you know that there’s no refund for this item. that is why if you agree with their terms, you can click the purchase button.
Im not going to keep playing something thats broke . I loved the campaign and what i got of spartan ops but had enough . for a AAA title its very poor multiplayer . the one thing that upsets me more that anything is that 343 havent said a word . a post or a reply to say they are sorting something would of been enough . but for not to say anything shows for me they are no interested and for that im not going to waste my time .

I don’t think they will give you a refund unfortunately, microsoft is pretty stringent, with the “There is no refunds for this product” thing…

This is nothing new to a Halo game. Bungie was always quite about any issues they were working on. I have also read that they are aware of issues and are looking into them. They can’t just promise to fix things without doing research first. Flipping a switch in one area can vastly affect another area. If you don’t like the game then cut your loses and move on. It’s simple really. Your time must not be very valuable to try and get $25 back for something that very well may be fixed by the time they come out.
Each time I download something on XBL there’s always the words “no refund” written somewhere so good luck getting your money back. But it’s nice you leave, we won’t miss you and don’t advice other people what to do because they’re old enough to decide themselves and you didn’t even know you couldn’t get a refund.

They’re working on the issue. There’s an entire sticky thread about issues they’re looking into.
I haven’t experienced much lag at all the past week and a half. The lag I have seen is mostly due to a player with a Micky Mouse connection, or the 40 year old cable in this building causing some signal loss on my end.

Quite literally everything you purchase on the market place says no refunds.
Yet I have been refunded for 14 purchases this year.
and yes, i do include the boltshot too!
