Just another Specialization Topic to nuke

I have heard from one person, I have heard from another person, I have heard from MS, I have heard from BSangel. Everything is convoluted and it doesn’t have any actual confirmation regarding what has, and is happening with those that did not receive the Email/Ingame Message.

Microsoft says, go to the forums and post, went to the forums, posted(Multiple times) The thread gets frozen and locked. Alright, why did that happen, who did it(Moderator’s have voices too) and what is happening with the 1600+ Pages of users who did not receive the codes?

Message from BSAngel, “As I understand it all the codes have already gone out” Which implies that 343 is not honoring their promotion and they are unable to fulfill their obligations to it’s Community, and paying customers. Fine, have Frank O’Connor or Kiki Wolfkill have an account created that states, “All users who were intended to receive this promotion have been contacted, etc…”

The level of professionalism on this whole issue is atrocious, I could use stronger descriptors for this matter, however I fail to comprehend the actual problem to be adequately angry at this issue.

Let’s go back to the Promotion for a second.

So here I am, I have purchased not only the standard edition, but the CONSOLE that came with the Standard Edition Game. Beaten the single player game a day after launch, achieved the maximum allowable rank(Level 70) and now I have been forced to accept that “343 Industries has run out of digital codes”

I only ask for one thing on this matter, absolution and confirmation that either the 1600+ pages of users are truly “Out of Luck” or if there is some attempt to salvage this atrocity in Public Relations to save what is a rapidly declining perspective on the Halo Franchise.

I have to agree with you. This is the LAST video game i will purchase from MICROSOFT. I will no longer purchase anything from the creators of 343. It is easy to find the names of those responsible.

Since they are saying the next generation of consoles will eliminate gamers from selling their used games, and if this is true, i’m done with the industry as a whole.

What people have to do is write to them until they properly respond. Also, it is not ENOUGH now to just come thru with “RE-GIFTING”, 343 has to GIVE MORE. The 6 specialization code is not enuff.

This is the greatest thread ever produced by man.

343 my friends are stuck in this situation, stop ignoring your fans or they won;t be your fans for very long.

I am really glad I’m not the only one, its to me; frustrating. I don’t want to wait a mouth or even more just to rank up, that’s ridiculous. All ranks should be available to everyone. I’m 16 and its unfair, halo is not worth a rated M game…

I love Halo, remember being a kid and all I wanted to do is play Halo 2 and get out of maps, lol.

I completely agree. The lack of professionalism is horrendous. And like someone said above, keep ignoring your fans, 343, and they won’t be your fans for very long. I love the Halo series, I grew up playing them. But I won’t get Halo 5 or 6 if -Yoink- like this happens.

Totally agree. I too have met the criteria. I check my email, xbox messaging and forum every day to no avail. I was so excited yesterday to see forum moderators posting that codes have been sent AND reminders (because I was thinking I may have deleted the email). So i check my email, xbox and forum… and nothing. STILL. Totally unacceptable. I seriously will reconsider purchasing any other games from 343. Including any Halo games. Because in the end…they did not approach this properly. No one should be cast aside… no should be overlooked. If you have a promotion, and you meet the criteria, you should be taken care of. LOCKING FORUM THREADS TRYING TO PLEAD WITH 343 FOR A RESOLUTION WILL NOT MAKE THE PROBLEM GO AWAY.

I’m blown away by the unprofessionalism.

I used to be like you guys. Whiny. Angry. Then I posted in that 1600+ thread and received my code the next morning. Now I am enjoying the game again. You are to quick to assume that 343 is not in the process of making more codes. I can garantee you they aren’t going to just forget about you guys.

What about the people that posted 12 days ago. What about the the closing of threads. What about the unresponsiveness. I understand there are alot of people to deal with. But what I want to see is “we are going to make this right. Because we stand behind our word”.

I haven’t seen anything like that. What I am seeing and hearing is “be quiet and wait like everyone else”… when we should be out grinding right now.
