Just an opinion of mine..

Saying Halo 4 and Reach copied CoD is like saying you weren’t going to play Halo CE because you could jump and shoot at the same time and pick up weapons like you were playing Quake.
I think Halo 4 is going to be incredible, and they can add anything they like to the game, even if it’s something that another game has done, as long as it enhances the experience.

As long as I don’t go onto a map and people are running around sticking C4 to things, doing 360 no-scopes by jumping off of buildings, and practically every weapon is the same gun with a different name and sound, I have plenty of hope.

Yeah I agree with you on the game content. Halo’s done a better job than CoD in putting in “perks” and weapons and equipment. They made it balanced whereas CoD you could run around with a noob tube and destroy.

But with that said, I think Halo shouldn’t do this whole perk progression unlock system. It really spells disaster. Why should someone get something better than me for playing more even when they are a worse player? The playing field should be level.

I have a feeling that when you get things unlocked with rank, it’s not game-changing, but really just something to flaunt your rank.
Whatever you unlock is most likely going to give you an edge in whatever you’re good at, but if you’re truly a better player, then you’ll still be able to put them down.

And in a different situation, and you’re facing someone as good as you are, but they’re more of a jack-of-all trades and you’re better at say…stealth, you can use your edge to your advantage and maybe use your specializations to help with that (like increasing your radar, getting Wetworks so he might not be able to see you in time, increased Sprint)
You’ll certainly be able to catch him unaware more often, but if he catches onto your ninja playstyle and he’s actually good, he’ll most likely come out on top.

Iunno, the possibilities are endless, really.
