Just an idea

In the game rocket league there is a quick chat function where there are phrases to help communicate when solo queuing. I was playing with my friends then other day on h5 and couldn’t communicate with them when I picked up over shield. Something like this might be good in infinite like picked up over shield or something like that.

Mmmmmm I like the idea but also no. A big part of the competitive arena scene is tracking timers for spawns and a quick chat function just makes it too easy. Unless you remove time stamps I suppose.

A lot of players avoid using a mic, even in competitive/ranked gamemodes. I find it frustrating when my teammates don’t communicate with the team, and so i think some sort of ping system would be good. It’s better than nothing when solo-queueing.

I dont want time stamps but if someone said they grabbed it then it would be up to the team to look at the time

Rocket league doesn’t have time stamps, it’s literally stuff like good job, great shot, defending… Etc etc.

Mostly used to congratulate your team or taunt your opponent. It’s pretty funny, not sure how well it would fit in Halo personally but I like the idea of making teamwork better for those without mics.

There is some for example like need boost.however I didn’t mean rocket league specifically I just meant a quick chat function. In the game paladins they have a quick chat with lots of options such as there behind us or I’ll flank

I don’t know why you said Rocket league when you have TF2, Counter strike, Apex, and Modern warfare (What are shooters) what use pings and/or quotes for comunication. Even other games like Enemy territory quake wars have quotes. Taunts, info, movement, and all that stuff.

I think what that would be a nice add to the game, mostly because i hate to use voice chat because toxic people or maybe just someone with the mic open, you know, you hear his game and his entery familiy on his mic.
