Completely disable the shop until the game gets these 4 things:
A 99% desync free experience.
Co-op from single to multiplayer.
Forge, free and complete from day one.
All DLC content is free for anyone who bought the campaign OR has been with the games for over a decade.
I mean is it really ridiculous that this game can launch with the least amount of content out of all the Halo games made and be paired with the worst desync of the franchise? And include the horrific memory leaks I and many others face on PC causing the game to either crash or be stuck at 50-100 fps and stuttering? I can’t even talk about the campaign cause there’s nothing to talk about lmao, its just 2 hours of Chief grapple hooking around and listening to a giant monkey talk about getting into a wrestling match with him with no other memorable moments.
And all of this while the shop has worked from day 1. Call me crazy but, I don’t think this is how video games are supposed to be.
Yeah strange wording but pretty sure he means campaign co-op in general which it should’ve released with. But, the developer is too stupid to get things right and instead disrespect their player base. OP should edit his post so his wording is 100% accurate about this disgrace.
Nooooooooooo! You can’t just disable the store! It’s literally the only reliable source of content, and the most functional part of the entire game!

I truly expect 343 to do none of those things.
More shop, more desync, co-op delayed, forge delayed, forge microtransactions shop, DLC $60 a pop.
I can guarantee you that these goals are completely unrealistic to expect in rapid timing and would’ve needed to happen during the game’s development, at least by the wordage. Should they get their crap together and do all of this? Yes, zero arguments. Are they going to shut off their money pipe while doing it? No lmao
It’s not, and 343 should be ashamed of themselves, but it’s obvious that they are not. Infinite is called a “game” but it is still in the same place when it released as the beta.
So Beta’s are called games now?
What gets me is how blind some players are defending this, defending a multi-billion dollar company that literally had all the resources they needed to at least create a have half a game. Yet, we got barley anything with an over priced shop and a over priced campaign that came with the lie about the customization.
Until there is so much public uproar that 343 and MS admit in their annual reports that it’s a hazard to their business (like what happened with EA), then nothing is going to happen.
I like to believe that many of the Devs in middle level management want to make a good game, but decisions from up top keep on making this impossible for them. Whether it’s true or not idk.
Season 2 might be the make or break for this game and I hope all your suggested fixes are implemented to some extent by then.
On a side note, you forgot a progression system. We’re at the point where battle pass owners are starting to complete all the levels and the only thing worthwhile to play towards right now is the the events or trying to increase your rank.
It does not help that sometimes the weekly rewards do not reflect the time or effort required to put in. ex. a banner backdrop or the sacrifice emblems for 4 weeks.
