This is not to say anyone is right or wrong when giving an opinion, because boy do all of us have one
Keep in mind how any of us express our opinion is going to be questioned, and how one treats anyone is how they will be treated. If you want respect, learn to give that respect in return, if you don’t, expect that same respect in return. It’s simple logic really.
Anyway, before I post what I want to really talk about all of us really need to look at the actual fact here. (None of us know what actually happened behind 343 closed doors ) We can only speculate. This is my theory of what has actually taken place, but don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying this is a good thing, but it didn’t benefit the player base that’s for sure.
Do you think scrapping the game a couple of years back may have had to do a lot with the decisions that were made for the new model the CM said we are stuck with?
See, Bungie scrapped Destiny 1 during production to sell the content in pieces, that later in Destiny 2 they used some of that content that was created for the first Destiny in Destiny 2. That contract required them to produce a certain amount of content in a timely matter. Now none of us know what the agreement 343 has with Microsft, if you do ( please enlighten me with a link showing that contract.) My theory is that 343 felt the pressure from Microsoft having to make that money, so they took the route that IMO most hoped they never would have. Now don’t get me wrong, they are to blame as much as Microsft for the state of the game, but more so than Microsft if I’m correct, do they have full creative control?
Keep in mind that 343 signed a contract and there are certain guidelines that are required. In the long run, it’s upper management that makes the calls and we are at their mercy. I can only hope for the sake of the game that upper management will at least have some sort of understanding why a lot of the community is really disappointed with the direction the game has headed, and that they at least attempt to actually correct some of it.
