Hi guys,
So from what I read on the Halo 4 forums, many people were disappointed that they couldn’t play as Elites in multiplayer. Obviously the story is focused on the forerunners now, so what do you think about being able to play as Prometheans?? Do you think there is any chance 343i would add something like that?
Unlikely since they dont fir the humanoid shape. It would be cool for a gametype like beastmode or invasion.
I want my odst for firefight 
They would have to be significantly downgraded from the campaign, and they would have to be in a unique playlist like Invasion or even Promethean Slayer. I would certainly give it a shot.
This is something that i feel people don’t understand. we Sangheili fans don’t like the elites for the reason of having another playable character. He play as them because we find them fascinating and a very nice twist, being able to play as the destroyers instead of the saviors or the warriors on a path of redemption.
I hope that 343i won’t try to compensate not having elites with adding in Pormetheans than they really don’t understand why so many enjoy the elites. Now if they could be put in Halo in a balanced fashion like Biotic said with something like Beast Mode that would be okay.
But back on why putting Prometheans in the slot of elites it would just be a kick in the -Yoink-. Since i’m sure they would be alot harder to balance and since MP is now canon they would be alot harder to fit in.
It seems to me that 343i has kicked two types of fans in the balls. ODST and Sangheili. I’m sure many people would be ticked off if ODST’s never make a big point in the story ever again and just get listed as Average Joe’s.

I’m sure the closest were are going to get to ODST’s are Spartan IVs wearing ODST armour. As for elites, I want to play as them again. Making them balanced would be hard though.
