so im thinking of buying halo ce remake and i noticed you get a dlc voucher for the new dlc. do i need my halo reach disk at all or is the halo reach mp already on the ce disk? if anyone can clear this up it would really help
What they did makes virtually 0 sense…
They give you a DLC code so you can launch the Anniversary playlists straight from Reach. But the CEA disk itself lets you play the Anniversary playlists anyway. I guess the code is more just to make things convenient so you don’t have to switch disks to switch to the Anniversary playlists.
So the Reach disk you may already have is just for all their other playlists. The normal Reach playlists if you will. And the Anniversary playlists come on the CEA disk. So you don’t need Reach to play just those playlists.

A lot of people still play Halo Reach, so they wanted to make the Anniversary maps available to people who might not buy Halo: Anniversary. It actually makes more sense than when Bungie did the ODST/Halo 3 multiplayer disc where you couldn’t save the Mythic 2 map packs and you could only play them from the disc that came w/ ODST.
That was dumb.
