why does their armor look like john’s if his was a gift from cortana? If someone could answer my question that’d be helpful.
the armor is designed by dr. halsey? it wasn’t a gift, the spartan II’s were just the only people who could actually use the armor due to its accelerated movement and reflexes
also no one has the same armor on blue team, all different

343 stated that it was made by cortana using nanobots that’s why in halo 4 it was different from 3 canon wise that’s also why his armors not in multiplayer I just want to know how the unsc could make blue teams armors like johns.

The armor are very similar though.
Those were the armors they had before John had his armor changed. They had those armors, whereas john had the old Mark VI. Cortana did not make their armor. They all have specialized armor for their roles.
343 kind of just threw lore out the window at this point.
Sergeant Johnson’s death was actually just a hallucination and he is actually Cortana.

They had similar armor (Mark IV and Mark V) before and during the Battle of Reach. After the Halo event, they all received upgrades, with John getting Mark VI and the rest their respective armor. This can be proven from the terminal cutscenes in Halo 2 Anniversary.
John’s Mark VI in Halo 4 and Halo 5 was indeed an upgrade by Cortana, but never made by her. And for the record, only John had Mark VI. Fred, Linda and Kelly never did.

They’re all wearing GEN 2 varients.
The nano bot explanation was just 343 covering up a retcon in art design. There really is no tangible explanation its just their art design.
