Okay, a while back I read a 343i quote or some sort of statement about Halo 4. Anyways, it went something like “You’ll be able to tailor your weapon for any situation”. How could you guys not see this? In other words, your weapons will have either attachments, add-ons or something completely new. This means stuff like silencers, scopes, etc. Am I reading this wrong, or is it pretty much the truth compared to the quote? Discuss.

I thought the entire reveal trailer was basically them yelling at us “LOOK WEAPON MODS AND ATTACHMENTS HURR DURR”
They were a bit lacking in subtlety in that regard.
Awesome idea, it would work in Campaign, like Crysis style.
Adds a lot more freedom and replayability, although I think that it only belongs in one single play list (maybe,like Invasion) in multiplayer.

It’s thought by most people that he was simply reloading the weapon.

I figure they saw sense and tossed it out, because they released a “Director’s Cut” version of the trailer where the Chief throws the new gun away at the end.
I have been thinking about a unique way for there to be weapon attachments in H4/5/or 6.
I could imagine the SMG and with attachments that can make it the ODST smg.

I’m just scared they would make it like CoD, loadouts and such. I mean, I love new things in Halo games…but copying CoD is like copying an Ed wood movie.
