I’ve just about unlocked every armor/helmet, but I have a few left that I cant seem to get…
Can anyone tell me what I need to do to unlock them?
- CQB (helmet only, no matching armor?) - EOD (helmet only, no matching armor?) - Operator Gen1 (helmet only, no matching armor?) - Pilot (helmet only, no matching armor?) - Recon Gen 1 (helmet only, no matching armor?) - Security Gen 1 (helmet only, no matching armor?) - Achilles - Challenger - Eva Gen 1 (helmet only, no matching armor?) - Military Police (helmet only, no matching armor?) - Mk V Delta (helmet only, no matching armor?)After making a list there is more than I thought.
It seems I’m only missing Achilles and Challenger full sets, and a bunch of helmets that dont have matching armor.
Achilles is Spartan Company only, Challenger is tied to special REQ packs I believe, and everything else is in the Classic Helmets pack that can be found in the Xbox Store for $10. It will be coming to the ingame store for 150,000rp at some point in the future again though.
To add to AftermaTh XCVII post. Achilles is obtained by completing the Spartan Company Kill Commendations. Challenger was available only for a limited time in HCS packs, and the rest of the helmets will be available at a later date.

I thought I’d bought it a while back in a HCS pack, but it seems it was the very similar looking Athlon Champion.
I’ve just looked at the classic helmet pack online, and AftermaTh XCVII you’re correct. All the helmets I dont have are in that pack.

Any of the Reach Armor work well with them. Mark IV is pretty good as well. The Achilles armor is pretty good with Recon Gen 1 IMO.

CQB looks pretty good with the Wrath body piece, looks nice IMO
To break things up, try going the Halo 3 route and pair the classic helmets with any Mark VI armor of your choice. Pairing that with either Mark V Delta, Recon GEN1, EVA GEN1, CQB, and EOD results in a really nice look.
For me, Recon GEN1 + Mark VI Satrap is practically perfect.

Achilles armor and helmet are items that can only be obtained through the company commendations. The Champion armor and helmet were only available during the HWS pack. Unfortunately those are only obtainable through those methods so you will have to join a company and complete commendations with them to get Achilles and hope the HWS pack comes available again for the Champion.

Achilles armor looks good with pretty much all of the Classic helmets.

When I finally started caring about the unlocks and stuff? I probably got it in 3 months playtime? Several hours a day. Started with Silver Packs, then Gold, and now I’m waiting for some of the items to be available for purchase via RP because I’m not sinking real money into exclusive packs.

According to the service record, my total arena/warzone time is 11 days 22 hours.
The only req’s I’ve bought with real money are the Athlon champion and classic helmet pack.
I dont really play warzone so I just sell all the non-permenent req’s using waypoint tools.
Also, I used the bronze,silver, gold strategy. I.e only buy bronze until you have all the common and uncommon reqs, then move onto silver, gold etc. it costs much less in points this way.

Dang, that’s a really long time. Also, I completely understand your unwillingness in spending real money on exclusive packs, it just seems like a waste, plus it feels better to know that you spent RP instead on it.

That’s smart to sell all non permanent REQ’s, but I have a lot of fun with REQ’s in warzone so I keep mine. I hope you get the last REQ’s you need!

If you keep unlocking a good chunk of stuff from the first day you start playing Halo 5, you should most of, if not, everything within a year.
