Junyszek, are you listening?

I could care less if they have more campaign DLC as a sold item, but I don’t want them to sell map packs.
All it did was split the community back in the day, and it will be even worse now since there would be multiple.

I don’t think they need to provide more earnable credits outside of what is required to purchase the next BP. It is a simple carrot on a stick business model…players earn/unlock CP via the BP, and they can either save the CP to buy the next BP or spend it on content in the store. As long as the next BP is full of quality content then they keep players engaged, guarantee repeat business and hence more likely to generate sales revenue. Basically they don’t need to keep dishing out free CP in any form…what they need to keep dishing out is free quality content and information as that business model will make players happy and engaged by making them feel valued, and 343i would generate more sales via the micro transaction streams.

I absolutely agree…I only mentioned it as it is a possible micro transaction revenue stream that they could go down. I would be 100% against it as it splits the player base by dividing who can and can’t play certain maps and playlists.

First I just want to say, I don’t believe Microtransactions have any place in Halo to begin with also, I Agree with all of that, I was just thinking it could be more beneficial for both sides if credits earnable were more than the BP price. ie. Allows someone to buy the next pass and a few things from the store. Currently using cosmetics bought in the store has a stigma associated with it because everyone knows how they got it. This could be reduced/removed if credits were earnable through playing (better for 343 from a business standpoint). If credits earnable were not capped it would also allow people to obtain something after completing the BP and once a progression system is implemented just by playing matches.

As for the store, not mentioning the giant elephant in the room, my biggest gripe is the value is awful. The most I’d pay for stuff would be 1 dollar. (since they deff won’t be getting rid of the only semi live service aspect to the game) coatings should be $1 and be usable on all cores, all kit restrictions should be removed, 2 shoulders are not a bundle- this should be one item, full armor set at most should cost $5. Also from a business aspect, whoever thought adding anything other than armor (ie. emblems/nameplates/stances) into an armor set bundle was a good idea has no brain.
