Halo: Glasslands states that any remaining Spartan III’s were given the option to ugrade and become part of the Spartan IV program. Considering that Jun is the only surviving/MIA member of Noble Team and a Spartan III, I see no reason as to why he shouldn’t at least make an appearance in Halo 4.
Do we know all the canon intel if Jun doesn’t die after delivers Halsey to where she needed to go in A Fistful of Arrows comic?
I Thought he died in the Books or something Halsey did to him…
Either way I don’t remember.
Fistful of Arrows is awesome, but not canon.
Jun is dead. He died transporting Halsey to the ONI base on top of a platinum mine.
He isn’t mentioned outside of Halo: Reach or the FOA fan-comic.
Source? I’ve read or seen every bit of Halo fiction and nowhere does it say that.

If you really read all Halo books, you should know he died and I’m pretty sure Halsey had something to do with it…
jun died pretecting halsey on the way to castle base. its in the books.
I’ve read all the books and nowhere does it mention Jun dying. It says something about a “demon bodyguard” dying, but that was Shiela.

So much failure! Have you seen Jun snipe? Why would you want more of that? He’s messed up way too many speedruns on Nightfall.
Which book did he die in? Also I could care less that he is dead. he never meant anything to me as a character.

This. Everyone’s saying “read the books” when Jun isn’t mentioned in ANY of them.

Shiela? I did a quick Halopedian search, there are two Shielas in Halo canon:
-Sheila-065, a Spartan-II who died in 2544. (Yes, Sheila, not Shiela)
-Shiela Polaski, a pelican pilot who was one of the few survivors of the battle of installation 04. (This time it is Shiela)
“Demon” implies Spartan. Reach fell in 2552, 8 years after Sheila-065 died. Also, “bodyguard” couldn’t be Shiela Polaski, as she was a pilot, not a bodyguard.
“Demon bodyguard” must therefor be Jun, although I have never heard of this “Demon bodyguard” anyway.
Jun escorted Halsey, but when SPARTAN Red Team met Halsey at CASTLE Base, he was no where to be found.
jun will not be appearing in halo 4 he died in grasslands protecting dr halsley end of story and plus i do not think he would make a good spartan four another thing question and if you need the factual information if you have not read grasslands go to www.halopedia.com for more information on any type of faction group or enemy
Nope he was killed by Covie’s when protecting Halsey.
actualy no he didnt. i just read glasslands and itdoes not mention that at all anywhere and jun is not mentioned in any novel or canon outside of reach. i also checked ur pedias and wiki’s found zip actualy they say the opposite
I haven’t read any of the books so I could be wrong. But I believed he was KIA on Reach. Just not in game.
just checked the book again and no jun
Insane x Cakes provides an interesting theory for Jun’s death. Maybe He did die , though very (heroically I guess),but unfortunately he died offscreen , so who knows ?!
Btw , I find it intriguing that Jun’s fate is similar to John117’s real face and identity , they both add to the mystery of the Spartan programs and give a sense of progression to the lore.
