Cortana’s role in Halo 5 destroyed the feeling and connection that we all had during Halo 1-3, she’s supposed to be with us, and making her a powerful feminist towards humanity doesn’t help, with the mentions of the UNSC INFINITY looking for important people to fight Cortana… Jun could take part in Chiefs team. Like a replacement for Johnson, make sure the arbiter is around and make the marines Marines again. The role and power of the covenant need to be addressed because in Halo CE and Reach we could see their real role and power, how the covenant destroyed reach and civilians in Reach, and how they could do anything to the human race, as we see on Halo 3 ODST, thankfully we got to see another form of power that could go against it, THE FLOOD. The need to see the forerunners wasn’t there, in the games, anything that came from the forerunners was awesome, and it was more awesome because we didn’t know anything about it and making that idea ancient and secret/obscure was the cherry on top of the Halo games, because we were only able to see their creations, it was the idea and concept that explained where/why/how everything is/was the way it is/was. Talking about roles, us humans,(UNSC) have to be the under tech group, the idea that our technology wouldn’t work towards the threat creates the survival perspective that our only hope is a group of supersoldiers, and that is the main point. What made Halo awesome, and Chief admirable was on the description of HALO CE, it says that Chief is the last Spartan, and that was the most important “fact” and/or idea of the game, he (the player) was the only one who could stop the covenant and the flood.
Jun shouldn’t be old, he has to be around the same age as chief. Make Dr. Halsey talk about her relationship with Captain Keyes.
