If jun did survive reach and went to earth with him being a SPARTAN-III he would have the option to become a SPARTAN-IV
It would be cool if he was in halo 4 S-III or S-IV

yes, i’ve always wondered what happened to him. too many missing people in Halo…
Spartans never die, they’re just missing in action. I don’t think you can “become” a Spartan IV (if and when there is one) if you feel like it. The augmentations could react badly to the Spartan III chemical stuff, or just would be too expensive and time consuming to design a III to IV transfer. And I think Jun died defending Docter Halsey (because he wasn’t present when the Spartans found her, and I doubt he would just leave her.)

ummm… lets see. how can i put this? youre wrong.
The SPARTAN-IV program will specifically use adult candidates, including SPARTAN-III’s. read Glasslands.
You wouldn’t be able to change your Spartan designation just by joining a new contingent of Spartans. If Jun joined a group of Spartan-IVs he would still be a Spartan-III, just like how Jorge joined Noble Team. Jorge remained a Spartan-II.
Unless they make some mad crazy change to the canon.
true ^
Jorge was a classic and well trained…To bad he had a crappy death with just one ship that pissed of the rest of the covies…
I doubt Jun survived Reach. If he did, then he would be a S-III in the S-IV program. There wouldn’t be any point augmenting someone who is already augmented to their fullest capacity. Personally, I can’t see the Spartan IVs being half as strong as the II’s and III’s.

Parangosky described it in such a way that I imagine spartan volunteers would be more like honourary Spartan IVs. Part of the squad and equal entirely, regardless of history.
Jun living to be an S4 would be cool. I’d like to see that, if that awesome fan-made comic doesn’t get canonized (Fistful of Arrows, I think it’s called?). I don’t suppose it will.

Oh I get it so there going to be like noble team but some teams will be mixed with S-IV’s S-III’s and I heard the S-IVs will be lead by S-II’s
Oh sorry, haven’t read glasslands. Planning to get it soon though. Ignore my prior post.
Jun was eaten by Man-eating MOAs and Jorge isn’t dead, just teleported to an unknown point in space (he’s been eating grunts all these years)
It would be cool to see the return of some MIA halo characters
Like Red team
Well we will have to wait and see what happens when the game comes out eh?
It’s entirely likely that Jun survived the Fall of Reach and enlisted to become a S-IV trainer. However, I’d disagree with the notion of him receiving further augmentations.
Jun is dead, he died on Reach. How do I know?
He is not in “The Fall of Reach” when Halsey and the surviving Spartan IIs are exploring the Forerunner ruins.
He had no way off Reach.
He is part of the Noble Team Statue on Reach, a commemoration to the sacrifices made that day.
All of this points to Jun being dead, and we really have no reason to suspect he survived.

Your so called proof is not proof of his death keep trying mate

I never claimed that to be proof, but it is strong evidence of his death.
In addition, Frankie has said that we will probably never know the fate of Jun
Also Jorge may have survived. You know what the Slipspace bomb does? It sends whatever it gets into slipspace then… ?
There is definitely the possibility of Jorge being spewed out in some random place. And if he was, the Corvette is probably still very much intact, though without working engines. I.E. The same situation as the Master Chief at the end of Halo 3.

Fixed your sentence.
Anyway: no, it doesn’t mean he’s dead, but again, it’s strong evidence of his death.
Frankie is saying we won’t see Jun again at all. This means no appearance in the S-IV program.
Now, if Jun were alive, it’s pretty stupid to just leave his story be. So I say again: Jun is dead. Fact.
Jun should die on Reach like the rest of Noble Team. That was the whole point of all of their characters; to give their lives so that events that happened after could actually happen.
