July Loot Crate (Noble 6 Theme)

> Just went to check my account since it was supposed to ship, at the latest, today. Lo and behold the last Noble 6 crate is no where on my account. Pretty ticked off at that. I cancelled and received a refund for every single crate aside from Halo last week, since I really wanted the last one for the series. Guess I’m out the money on that one…

Same here. I’m pretty heated. Over 2 months since the crate was originally suppose to have shipped. I’ve “contacted” their support on 2 different occasions and am currently waiting for a response from them. It’s actually insane. Every crate this series has shipped late for me. Idk about you guys. My Kat crate didn’t even ship. I had to contact them and have them send it. I paid for a 6 crate subscription and I expect them to fulfill that subscription. If they’re converting subscriptions over to different lines and taking on new subscriptions, then it doesn’t matter if they went bankrupt or not. It’s a simple solution. Fulfill the last crate in the series for the paying customers and be done with it. Either that or they can refund me the full cost of the 6 month subscription (not just for the Noble 6 crate). I paid for a specific subscription and I intend to get that. \rant

Anyway, I’ll keep you guys posted on what they say.

Update, still haven’t heard back from LootCrate. I did get an automated email stating high volumes of traffic so it could take awhile. (Ya don’t say)

However, my Noble 6 crate did reappear on my subscription. Now slated to ship anytime between Aug 10 and Aug 30. -_-

Something tells me the next week or two are going to be very busy for them. I’m just going to be patient - they’ve already lead me along this far.

Fixing the account linking issue would be a welcome bonus

I’m honestly not even sure what the account linking is suppose to accomplish or give you. The little icon on this and then I think one thing in MCC or something. Pretty underwhelming but I agree, they should fix that. I think mine works though. Its really a shame that things have gotten this bad. I noticed the quality of stuff in this crate series lack greatly compare to the first series, and even the second. I was hoping they’d continue the line leading up to and post Infinite but with how things are going, I’m glad they’re discontinuing. Maybe they’ll re-evaluate and get their stuff together and revisit the crate, but I’m not holding my breath.

Any of you receive a shipment notification yet?

No. My guess is the Legendary Crate series is not their only backlog, and declaring bankruptcy was most likely not the only condition of the sale. They might have to shift their personnel around, making it difficult to fulfill shipments.

The skull badge, what is it for?

Former Halo Legendary Crate Loot Crate person here!

1- The account linking issue will not be fixed. Sorry about that! The team stopped working on it a while ago since they determined they wouldn’t be moving forward with more Halo Legendary Crates after this last one. Tech/dev team resources were needed elsewhere. :frowning:

2- Most of LC staff is gone. There’s still some support staff, but I’m not sure how many reps there are now. Due to the article coming out, and months of excessive delays, I imagine the support team is SUPER backed up right now. Typically they’d try to reply within 2 business days, however I imagine the wait time may be considerably longer at this point. It’s unfortunate, but if you have gone more than 48 hours without a reply from support, I suggest DMing the @askloot twitter account with your support ticket number and email associated with your account to get a faster update. Also, some people may not be receiving a reply as there may be issues with issuing refunds, and if that’s the case, a bunch of tickets may be on hold until they can address your specific ticket saying yes or no to a refund. In my experience, support will most likely request that you just wait a couple more weeks for your crate to ship (assuming it actually ships end of month) instead of giving you a refund. As you’ve all already had to wait months for this crate to ship, it wouldn’t be unreasonable to ask for (and be firm about receiving) a refund if you choose not to wait any longer. Just make sure you’re nice, but firm about wanting a refund and request to escalate to a manager if you are not getting the refund as requested.

3- If your subscription ever disappears from your account info that’s usually because the estimated shipping time for that crate has passed. This doesn’t mean you won’t get your crate, or that your subscription was canceled or that something else went wrong. (So don’t worry!) Usually it just takes someone updating the system with the new ETA for it to show up in your account again.

4- Last I heard the Halo Legendary Crate was going to be shipping the end of this month. (This was before I was laid off) I’m not sure how this whole bankruptcy and acquisition thing affected crate shipping statuses though. I’m crossing my fingers for you all that you all get that final crate, and soon!

5- I doubt LC will be doing another Halo Legendary Crate series for a while, if at all. I think they have a lot of things to figure out before they tackle that one again. That being said, I do think the Halo Legendary Crate was one of the most consistent crates in terms of quality, and it was my favorite crate. I would like to see another series again, especially since I know some of what they had in store for the next series, and it would have been awesome. Hopefully some day, but as StateKDizzy said… “I’m not holding my breath.”

^ This - the support folk working under @askloot are super nice and helpful.

Ah thanks for this. I knew I didn’t really have to worry but this helps makes sense of why the latest crate disappeard for me

Thanks for the info and sorry to hear you got laid off. I wish you the best in finding new employment elsewhere.

Thank you for the very in depth breakdown of everything. This has by far been the most helpful piece of information I’ve received regarding Loot Crate.

I did receive emails back from support. Like the former Loot Crater said, extremely backed up and took more than 48 hours to reply. They were very apologetic and basically said the same things they’ve said in the past. Issues with the manufacturer, quality control, etc. Not sure how much of that is true or if it’s more regarding the bankruptcy, but they were friendly so there’s a silver lining.

As mentioned, the crate disappeared from my profile and then reappeared with a date slated for the end of the month (Aug 11th - Aug 30th). Let’s all hope this is the finish line. It’d be nice for them to get these all out and them to finish out the Halo Crates. I don’t really want a refund, I’d prefer to finish out the line of crates and have everything but if it keeps getting pushed back, I may consider it.

It is a real bummer. This was my first experience with Loot Crate. And it started out great. I’d get excited to see what each crate had. I wished they were monthly. But as time went on, things got worse and worse. Delayed shipping, missing items, etc. I hope they turn it around or Microsoft emulates something similar. It was a great concept.

Again, thank you for all the information.

I can’t wait for us to finally get our crates lol suppose to ship at the end of October

I have forgotten about it for weeks at a time! I guess I’ll consider it an early holiday present.

I just got a reply from another ticket I submitted say basically that they ran into more issues and that’s why the crate didn’t ship in September. The manager stated they are definitely aiming to get these shipped by the end of October. That being said, I’m not holding my breath. Lol

At least you got a badge for subscribing! I trust them wholeheartedly.

They say October ship but I’m guessing it’ll be more like Decemberish lol

I started my subscription at Kat, ended at Emile, literally only bought two crates and ended it cause it took them 3 months to ship kat all because of a 4 GB hard drive chip, its cool but 4Gbs aint -Yoink- and the hat was very girlish, Emile crate was 1 month late and was way better but these 3-4 wait periods with a half and half of these crates being worth it or not doesn’t seem worth it to me, and this is terrible, Noble 6 was a June crate and its late October almost November, glad i didnt purchase it (unless theres something worth it inside the loot crate)

I’d love to know where they source the items within the crate. The huge delays could be the result of using many different suppliers.

I honestly don’t think that has anything to do with it. I think it’s that the supplier wanted to get paid and they didn’t. Now that they have been, the order was at the bottom of the list and now they’re having to wait which means we have to wait.

I’m referring to the many delays that users have mentioned above, not just the current one.
