Hello community.

So, we all know that Bungie had the obsession with the number 7. Countless times they have reminded us in each one of the Halo games.

July 7th, 2012. 7/7/2012 falls on a Saturday, which could also be called the 7th day of the week if you start your weeks on Sunday.

Now I ask, what do you think 343 will do to continue the obsession/tradition? Has anyone heard of a Beta? Maybe they’ll release a new feature in Reach or more information on H4.

Just a thought, looking for some input.

Bungie is still going to celebrate their day, so I doubt 343 will do anything beside give them a shout out.

Bungie Day =/= 343 Day. 343 isn’t Bungie so I can’t imagine them celebrating Bungie’s made up holiday.

How can Bungie celebrate though? They don’t have any real way to get to the people besides their site. Unless they just do a little company celebration instead.

Last Bungie day, Bungie sold grab bags of goodies.

Inside some of the grab bags were golden tickets with a code, and a website address within Bungie.net’s domain. Those with the card were told to return to that website on that day and no sooner.

My guess is that on Bungie day 2012, they will announce their next game, and give those players with codes beta access.

Well, it’s been about two weeks since this question was asked last. About time…

Well, I know that with the lack of responses I seen throughout the Halosphere (not the online game) several of the Halo gaming communities are hosting their own “Bungie Day 2012” Celebrations.

Anyone know any other communities doing this? I will update the list as I receive more groups.

It will be celebrated by Bungie, it has nothing to do with Halo.

I wouldn’t be shocked if 343 had the daily challenges set up on the 7th as a special shout out.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they didn’t, either.

Well, “I” didn’t realize it was a month old until after the fact. There are a lot of peole out there looking to do a “Bungie Day” event. So I was trying to help by letting you know that there ARE communities celebrating, be it not “with” Bungie, but in honor of the games that have brought us all here to begin with.

Bungie Day isn’t tied to Halo. It’s about celebrating the Bungie community. 343 Industries will have their own traditions. Bungie always has great ways for fans to enjoy the day. They have already given swag out to finalists in their competition. They mentioned more to come tomorrow.

I was thinking the same thing. Ive been waiting a year or this to happen. O.O
