I hope 343 doesnt kill Jul Mdama off by the end of this season. His character still has so much potential left, his terrorist has been eliminated by Crimson. And now Gek, his second in command is also dead. Dont you think hes just aching for revenge?
EDIT:Besides, who will lead the covenant storm?
My theory is Jul will carry into Halo 5 but die around the end of it, while the Flood will come back into the picture and be the central antagonising force in Halo 6.
Honestly
If they do kill of M’dama
I will kick someone due to overarching stupidity
Jul is awesome. They should kill off Palmer.
I tho he’s reaching the end of his rope. Storm covenant are getting thier -Yoinks!- handed to them around requiem and his second in command is dead. Not only that but Halsey is on her way into the shrine . It’s only a matter of time before he loses.
I really like Jul, he is such an epic character.
If 343 kill him off this soon then I think I’m going to blow up.
> Jul is awesome. They should kill off Palmer.
runs up and shakes hand
My good sir, i agree with you 100%.
Maybe it goes in a very different direction. Perhaps the Requiem stuff is wrapped up by the final season, and Halo 5 deals with the Innies and the outlying Stormies. And Halo 6 is all about Humanity reclaiming and sharing the Mantle, ready to take the fight to those -Yoink- Precursors in whichever galaxy they holed themselves up (the Magellanic Clouds?). Regardless, the universe isn’t safe until the extragalactic flood manufacturing plants are shut down.
I’m also waiting for a surprise reappearance of the Spirit of Fire in the series, but it would be just as awesome (albeit more sorrowful) if that crew indeed just drifted forever.
I wonder how the Spirit of Fire would play out.
I dont hope they will kill him! He’s so badass! I like hes charater because he knows what he is doing and he is not only brute he is also wise and freaking clever.
They should kill Palmer… she and the rest of the NEW spartans (except crimsom team, the lady of majestic teamd and thorne) are a shame of the orginal spartans (master chief and noble team for example). They are so childisch and dumb. No respect for Halsey… while she is the main reason why there are spartans in the first place. Reason why humanity is still alive.
Eh the Spartan IV’s you play with are respectful, it only feels like Majestic and Palmer are a bit brash.
I can’t help but think of Jul as a failure.
He survived all the stuff that happened in the first two novels of the Kilo Five trilogy, and will survive everything in the final book and is now where he is (the leader of the Storm)
But in Halo 4 and in Spartan Ops, he keeps failing in his missions. Crimson ruins his plans almost everytime. He takes Crimson prison, they free themselves, they take Glassman, he tricks them and runs away, he takes Halsey, she screws up his plans by being the one who will talk with the Librarian instead of him. It seems like he cannot do anything right. I ask myself how the Storm hasn’t switched him already for a better leader.
Don’t get me wrong, I liked his character in the books, but I don’t feel frightened when I look at him as an opponent in the game. But that may change, still two episodes left.

Which just reminds me of the ending to Episode 8 and I start laughing again.
> Jul is awesome. They should kill off Palmer.
Survival of the fittest.
Round 1: Eggheads
Jul agrees to spare a captured UNSC scientist
Palmer addresses them condescendingly and leaves them mostly undefended
Winner is Jul
Round 2: Promptness
Winner is Jul
May I remind fellow forumers how she got ambushed by a Knight? Sure she might have dual wielded pistols but please, that was the -Yoinking!- Halo 1 God pistol.
Round 3: Courtesy
Jul sends a Knight to capture Halsey but does not put a bomb on her and communicates more kindly with her
Palmer is antagonistic to Halsey, and though not a direct order to her, will likely comply with the order to kill her.
Winner is Jul
Round 4: Religion
Jul says humans are bad but is not above working with them much like the Elites in the past.
Palmer says “kill them all, and let God decide who is his”. Direct quote from Palmer: “They believe this is the home of one of their gods! Way I see it, if those freaks wanna meet God, it’s our duty to help them along!”
Winner is Jul
Yes, please kill or retire Palmer. Jul beats her in everything.

Not like anybody else in that group is any smarter.

Screaming “No! I must be the one…” like a little, helpless kid, while Halsey runs away right in front of him.

Battlewagon spam, Watcher spam, Crawler Alpha spam, General spam, Hunter spam. Enough said.
It’s for gameplay reasons.
Jul only had a handful of Elites with him. And we’ve been to Halo 4’s sniper alley 3-4 times already. If UNSC weren’t so busy killing aliens all the time, Jul would be dead by now.
I like how the Spartan IVs that are stuck on Requiem are now improvising. I like how Crimson have been improvising. It’s only a matter of time before they find Jul.

Seriously you would have thought his body guards would open fire before Halsey reached the shrine but no they just stand there.
I’m sorry that was one of the funniest moments in Halo this week for me. Besides me and my teammates Warthogs colliding at full speed on Warrens with me and my teammates came out completely fine standing around dumbfounded.

You would think Jul would stretch his hand and grab Halsey before she enters the shrine. Seriously, she was standing almost right in front of him. He is a warrior. One would think that he would at least try to run and catch her before she does anything.
