yeah he was a heretic
they ruined the entire Sangheili species through him.
Jul Mdama’s character is a juvinile and bigoted plot arch.
look how they approach religion from the sangheili perspective.
Well ya but traditions just don’t go away just because the leaders of their covenant were wrong, they still believe the forerunner were at least some what sacred and Jul wasn’t a fanatic, he just didn’t want humans to obtain the technology because they were the ones who armed him for civil war, it was them betraying the arbiter during their peace time, it was them who flexed their new warship infinity, so he had good intentions
well actually, we don’t really know what the Sangheili propensities are for loyalty. They might be prone to snap judgments and proceeding with fascist zeal.
taking high offense to transgressions, they neglect to provide fair judgment. and revolt.
The majority of Sangheili didn’t have to believe in the Forerunners’ superiority, because they just followed rank,
where as on the field, their oration of the Forerunner Significance was an inference of the delegated Battle Commands.
- “GET IN LINE!/ FALL IN, GRUNTS! (+) Lieutenant!: Test His Bravery!”
However, I agree. I purchased the Graphic Novel Series, to sponsor INFINITE the sme way I buy JUPITER ASCENDING on DIisc and JOHN CARTER Comics to sponsor John Carter the Movie #2
- They debaucheried the "spirituality of the Sangheili"
- and made Mdama somehow Competent enough to Bypass Hierarche Protocols and Cunning Enough to Step outside the Sangheili mindset and exploit their Fanatic behaviour.
- He claimed godhood.
how does that reflect the narrative.
Spirituality isn’t like in English to Sangheili ? : Christmas; Ale; spirited efforts; spirit to work; spirited away.
Spirit has no other application in English: it pertains not to a bodiless creature, but to a Form of Willpower we Identify as a constituent of Personality.
I thought the Sangheili were scientifically inspired, like God’s moral laws are in Religion. God is omniscience by definition. The state of being the Faculty of All knowledge, not merely having all knowledge, the actual faculty itself, Of ALL knowledge even the unknowable. The Laws of Religion Informed to humanity by God, are elected by default, - not selected nor “chosen” - and this form of religion, Real Religion, was best suited to the Sangheili aswell.
Where would Sangheili derive - not paranormal, as that can simply mean, aetherreal, or suppositious . Nor supernatural… same deal. - Demonic hypothesis?
it just seems so out of place to me,
who always thought that the COVENANT at the end of Halo 3 were still going to be the #1 threat in Halo 4 in spite of the flood only " needing 1 spore alive, to desolate" Earth.
