Well ya but traditions just don’t go away just because the leaders of their covenant were wrong, they still believe the forerunner were at least some what sacred and Jul wasn’t a fanatic, he just didn’t want humans to obtain the technology because they were the ones who armed him for civil war, it was them betraying the arbiter during their peace time, it was them who flexed their new warship infinity, so he had good intentions

well actually, we don’t really know what the Sangheili propensities are for loyalty. They might be prone to snap judgments and proceeding with fascist zeal.
taking high offense to transgressions, they neglect to provide fair judgment. and revolt.

Spirit has no other application in English: it pertains not to a bodiless creature, but to a Form of Willpower we Identify as a constituent of Personality.
I thought the Sangheili were scientifically inspired, like God’s moral laws are in Religion. God is omniscience by definition. The state of being the Faculty of All knowledge, not merely having all knowledge, the actual faculty itself, Of ALL knowledge even the unknowable. The Laws of Religion Informed to humanity by God, are elected by default, - not selected nor “chosen” - and this form of religion, Real Religion, was best suited to the Sangheili aswell.
Where would Sangheili derive - not paranormal, as that can simply mean, aetherreal, or suppositious . Nor supernatural… same deal. - Demonic hypothesis?
