Jul? As in Jul 'Mdama… the Sangheili?
Not to sound rude, but I see a very wide difference in Prometheans and Sangheili.
Do you mean that the Didact made Jul an “honorary” Warrior-Servant?

I would say this. Personally I want to see Jul’s forces get their hands on Promethean Combat Skins designed for their anatomy. It would help make them look awesome and differentiate them from other Sangheili factions which may or may not make an appearance someday.

Are you referring to the Composed Humans? Jul definitely isn’t a Promethean Knight, and normal Prometheans are a Forerunner exclusive rank.

He’s the didact’s hand. We can also see the didact’s symbol at the end of halo 4 spartan ops. He knew about a lot many things on requiem. So…
Humans were added to the rank of prometheans. They were turned into knights but nonetheless Promethean

He claims to be the Didact’s hand, that could very well be a self-proclaimed title. Plus, he isn’t a Knight so therefor the situation is different. He spent 6 months on Requiem, I’m sure he spent a good amount of time looking around.

I believe you’re a bit misinformed OPERICKY.
The Humans that “became” Prometheans were digitized via the The Composer.
This act can be seen in the terminals and read about in Silentium.
(Original Promethean’s being composed and Humans being Composed)
They were only chosen do to the fact that the Ur-Didact’s numbers were “not enough”,
to fight off the Flood threat.
Jul 'Mdama is a Sangheili (Elite), and is known as “The Didact’s Hand”.
This may be a self proclaimed title, or an appointed one.
Regardless, it is never stated that Jul receives the title of Promethean,
nor was he composed to be one. It is an exclusively Forerunner based rank.
(As of right now.)
His extensive knowledge of Requiem was most likely obtained through the Didact,
or something provided by him. Such as the world map we see in Spartan Ops. |

I think John carries the Didacts geas as well as the Librarians (all humans have her geas) so I guess he may not be a Promethean Knight but he is most certainly (at the end of Halo 4) a Didact / Forerunner.
This is just how I see things.
