PC getting great frames still feels like a juddery mess due to no G-Sync/FreeSync. Yes, it can be enabled for Windowed apps but does not function properly, it needs fullscreen. Yes, we understand DX12 has little to no performance loss windowed, but not having fullscreen makes the judder unbearable. XSX with FreeSync enabled feels perfectly smooth, even at less frames. It feels like two different games and this is not a PC first class experience.

I hope they make optimization better on real ease day because right now it doesn’t feel optimized at all, I was getting more fps in the flights

Yeah this does not feel polished at all. I recently picked up an XSX for the living room to have something in there and was baffled by the difference. It’s nice to see the game CAN feel A1, but it’s horrific to see the discrepancy.
Btw do you play at 1440p or higher? Even considering the poor optimization, 140fps for a 3080 seems low. Using the minimum fps feature “glitch”, i get quite stable 200fps with a 2070s at 1080p
3K essentially, 3440x1440p (21:9) on High. I set the minimum to 120 so it sits a bit above, I wish I could set it higher.
They simply need to adjust their viewpoint of FS and it’s priority to have a smooth PC experience.
There is a way to set minimum framerate higher than half the hz of your monitor, some people say that the game looks bad after using this option because the game is dynamically lowering resolution, but personally I couldn’t see any difference at all playing at 1080p so I’m keeping it

I believe this “beta” is running in quality mode and you’ll have the option to change it for performance mode on release. Personally, I put it on performance for PvP and Quality, depending, for single player.
Would that make a difference? I’m not a PC guy so I’m probably speaking out the window.

We don’t have quality or performance mode on pc, we can change every setting on a scale low-ultra, the problem is that playing on low vs playing on ultra setting makes little difference and we expected to get more fps because this doesn’t look like a demanding game
That’s good information. I just learned something new today. Thank you. Hopefully adjustments will be made for the PC players down the road in that regard.

Does NVidia’s new graphics card driver help at all? It released a couple days ago.
I downloaded it a few days ago but my performance didn’t change much, maybe I’m cpu bottlenecked
I’m running at 1440P, over 120 FPS with just a 2080 and it’s running like a dream. Unlucky mate.
The frames are there, it’s the judder that’s an issue. Only 35-40% of my GPU is being utilized.
